Well, then that really depends on who's pitching.

Which planet is it? Where's Guenny?

Since you asked, Uranus and Saturn are in opposition right now. Here's a quick little CP from Monday, when the last of the direct oppositions occurred.

Quote:
Monday, Jul 26th, 2010 -- The first of five culture-shifting oppositions between traditional Saturn and progressive Uranus occurred on November 4, 2008 when Obama defeated McCain in the USA election. Today is the last of this series, again pitting the old against the new. But aspects to dreamy Neptune can disconnect us from the facts. Meanwhile, the humanistic Aquarius Moon connects us to global issues as an optimistic Sun-Jupiter trine encourages us to gloss over details.

Not to mention, we currently have (I believe) FOUR planets in retrograde right now, which affect everyone in different aspects of their chart depending where they fall. Uranus just went into retrograde - Saturn just came out. This tension between these two planets has been ongoing for a year and a half now, Uranus being the planet of upheaval and new thought processes, and Saturn being the planet of restrictions, conservatism, and societal rules. As said, the first time the opposition came in directly, was on election day 2008 when "change" was the recurring victor. The last time was this past Monday, so now that these two planets aren't ******* with each other so much some things should smooth out a bit.

Also, if you are between the ages of 28-30 (or 56-60), this past year or so may have been a little rougher than most, because with this Saturn opposition and it spending a lot of time in retrograde, your "Saturn Return" (Saturn takes ~29yrs to make a full transit) that you have experienced may have been a little rougher than the average Saturn return. If you want to learn more about Saturn returns it's easy enough - everyone experiences it at around age 29, and depending on how Saturn influences your chart, it may affect you differently. For example, those of you who are Capricorn sun signs are ruled by Saturn, so any of Saturn's mischievousness affects you directly.

BTW, I consider interpreting people's astrological charts and transits a much more precise science than tarot readings. I may have linked this before but this is an interesting place to go to look at how the planets are affecting your life, even if you're not sure exactly why it means what it does: http://www.astrology3d.com/tv/forms/in-trans.html

(just pick the free report. Bonus points if you know the exact time of your birth, because it increases the information you can receive from your chart 3-fold. Also, I'm always willing to help with astrology, I love it, so PM me if you think you need help.)

You're close enough to her again, distance-wise, right? I hope she converts you. I'd love to see you holding daisies and spinning in a field.

You should be more concerned that BT doesn't convert me. Cali is only a 4 hours flight.

Well, at that point, it should just be a 9-1-1 call, right?

Then, obviously, you should be looking for more solid people, since if everything is running smoothly your business should be growing.

Timey,

Sorry little buddy but if I make much more than I am now I hit a whole new tax bracket which means I'll be working longer hours to see the same return. Surely even you can see why I'm not hiring now. I don't ever want more than a handful of employees at any given time. My father had over 40 employees in tx at one time and all it got him was a lot of grief and drama, no thank you.

I know agents that have spent 20yrs building their book of business and now only have one employee (office manager) to maintain the accounts and handle customer service. He makes 6 figures and doesn't do sh*t. That's where i'm heading.

I'm as big an opponent of our tax system as the next guy, but that's not how tax brackets work. There is never a situation in which you will take home less money after taxes if you make more money. Ever. Even the abomination that is the EITC is scaled so that this doesn't happen.

That's at least a valid reason. I'd stick with that.

Hint: Fix the glaring structural problems with your business and it works better.

Kudos for trying, but you just wasted your words. Although, I suppose you always have some to spare.

Kaelesh, you know I'm not black.

And forgive me if I know about planetary transits. Blame Ari for asking.
