For your pleasure..

I don't know what to think about this yet. They did make a valid points about it being another gateway to harder drugs.

No, they didn't.

Why? Because it's a goddamn MP3.

On a plus side, I listened to Blues Traveler - Four in its entirety this morning and it ruled.

Sh*t's a gateway drug to the real Blues.

This could lead to a resurgence of ham radio geeks.

If this is the first occurrence of a kid listening to his headphones getting the brilliant idea to take some drugs, call the police. Really, how can parents complain when they primary form of intake is to lay down with your eyes closed? No smell, no needle marks, just a kid playing with his brainwaves. Plus, we all know teenagers will get high off a bag of grass clippings if you tell them it's pot.

If you let kids listen to sounds, eventually they're going to get the idea to start dancing.

I'm generally the first to ***** about drug use, but how the hell can this have any lasting effects on you? Is this just the media going ******* because they decided to call it "digital drugs?"

The media is stupid. No further explanation is really necessary, now is it?

iDoser is a godsend. Non-addictive, actually works somehow, and is free. I can't believe that anyone could find a problem of this.

I'm listening to the second example on the binaural wikipedia page, and I feel extremely relaxed. I don't know if it's just a placebo effect, though.

This:

Frequency range Name Usually associated with:
> 40 Hz Gamma waves Higher mental activity, including perception, problem solving, fear, and consciousness
13–39 Hz Beta waves Active, busy or anxious thinking and active concentration, arousal, cognition
7–13 Hz Alpha waves Relaxation (while awake), pre-sleep and pre-wake drowsiness
4–7 Hz Theta waves Dreams, deep meditation, REM sleep
< 4 Hz Delta waves Deep dreamless sleep, loss of body awareness

has me very curious. I wonder what listening to the theta and delta waves are like. The audio file on wikipedia only goes down to Alpha.

I'm listening too.

Do you think it's safe to mix forums with binbeats?
