Can a Republican and a Democrat successfully mate?Follow

Jophed,

You said it yourself. Telling small business owners to leave the country if they don't like the tax rate speaks volumes.

And you liberals have the nerve to wonder why none of us are hiring right now. I will not hire a Democrat, you've created this economic climate.

No it's stealing when you have the govn force people to work for the govn half the year just to pay their taxes.

Well... you are only paying half your income in taxes because you have no idea how to work the tax code. So it's less the government is forcing you to pay half your income, more so you are choosing to pay it.

Wealth is the product of man's capacity to think.

Stealing? How is paying someone what you say you're going to pay them stealing? If I pay one of the girls 2k a month and the agency brings in 15k how am I stealing from that person? Did they take the risk of starting the business from scratch? Did they invest all their money to create the business? Did they sacrifice their social life to spend evenings working at the office? It's obvious you're just a lazy f*ck who thinks they deserve what other people fight, scrape, and save for. Basically you're just a piece of sh*t who suffers from one of the worst cases of class envy i've seen.

Again, once you're to the point you don't even have to put in a day's work anymore, why do they need you? How are you earning money?

Because, without his father's name and his father's contacts the company would be nothing!

Hell, with that kind of business savvy he may end up President.

Ash,

By paying someone to do the job I used to. If you knew anything about how small businesses operate you would know the first rule is to replace yourself, find someone to do what you're doing.

And guess what; eventually i'll sell the agency and they won't have a job at all.

Bard,

Like usual you have no idea what you're talking about. I started this agency from scratch. Did I use my fathers name, and contacts in the industry, and borrow a small amount to get me up and going, sure. Since day one i've been the one running this place. H*ll he retired over 2yrs ago.

I suppose it makes you feel a little better about how pathetic your life is if you can attribute the success of others to something besides their hard work.

So your daddy did basically do it for you. Good to hear.

As for my life being pathetic? yeah you're probably right. I should totally not go to med school and become an insurance salesman instead!Smiley: lolSmiley: lol

I never told you to leave. I said you had the free choice to leave if you wanted. Why are you so touchy and defensive about being told your freedoms? Do you really hate freedom that much?

Debo,

Of course without my brothers and my help he wouldn't have been able to set up his agencies in tx. When I was in middle school my brothers and I each had paper routes that allowed my father to survive those first 3yrs. Not to mention all the agencies we helped him set up, and work in. You know that's what good families do, they work together for the common good. Sometimes that means sacrificing personally. Liberals really don't get that sacrifice is the key to success.

Yeah. I should probably not pursue a doctorate in astrophysics. I'd really much rather have a sweet-*** boat than help advance mankind's understanding of the cosmos. I'm glad this thread has opened up my eyes. Where do I sign up for "My Father Was In The Insurance Industry 101?"

I actually have two jobs right now as a laboratory teaching assistant and research assistant to two different professors. Thanks to those jobs (and my scholarships) I will finish my undergraduate work without needing a single loan and will have excellent recommendations for when I apply to med school.

I know you are butthurt that I will be making 10x what you do once I'm done, but that's ok. I understand that you are jealous of those who use hard work to get what they want.

Kaelesh,

You do realize I get paid for every policy that renews don't you? So when my agency has 2500 customers we never have to sell another policy and just hire someone to service the current book and still make six figures simply for having someone take payments and make basic policy changes.

And that doesn't include any securities products we offer.

Your success doesn't count though. You're gay. How are you supposed to take your money and your sweet sweet boat with you into heaven, like varrus is going to?
