New England is hot and humid (~90f), though today doesn't seem as hot as yesterday. Or maybe it is, but I'm stuck in my office.

The sky looks threatening. I'm predicting relief to the heat will be incoming late this afternoon in the form of t-storms.

When we were driving through VA and NC yesterday, the car's external temperature reader said it was 106F outside.

It's pretty sad when we drive back to GA to escape the heat.

The weather here is uninteresting with a chance of being glossed over.

It was around 120f today, with 8% humidity. I think I saw a little bird explode while I was jogging this morning.

It's like 93 outside here. Inside my apartment, however, it is 105. With windows open...I don't understand why.

All this heat and not ONE instance of spontaneous human combustion. Le sigh.

Isn't the heat a sign of people farting more and thus, avoiding spontaneous combustion?

I found it amusing sometime last week I stepped outside and thought it was quite cooler than it had been, only to look up the current temp and it was 96.8. Thats pretty @#%^ing sad to think almost 97f is "cool" Smiley: glare

Was it a dry heat? I know I would much rather be in 110 degree weather with very low humidity compared to 95 degree weather and have high humidity. All I know is they are predicting upper 80s here and I hate being outside due to having humidity levels averaging out around 65. :l

She's in the coastal South, so I'm gonna go with "no, no, it's quite humid."

Actually, compared to what Im used to in MA, I consider it dry. 54% humidity or so. And I agree, I'll take 110 with drier heat any day than 85 and muggy as hell like I grew up in.

Some folks say its muggy here. Sometimes it is, but I would venture to say that at least compared to what I am used to, this is fairly dry heat. We live in the piedmont still 2 hours away from the coast, which makes a huuuuge difference in relations to humidity

The marine layer won't let up here by the beach so it's been cold, misty and almost drizzling. I'm wearing pants and a sweater.

Yup. I brought a jacket into work today. It was lightly misting, and it's been right at the "threatening to rain, but not doing it" state for about 5 days now. It has been nice and cool though, which is good. Sucks if you want to go to the beach though...

Was kinda cool in Florida today - I'd be surprised if it got high into the 90s this afternoon. Some showers might have helped. Oh, but there's AC everywhere, so I couldn't tell.

I remember life in the Northeast without Air Condition... huh. That would suck. Look on the bright side: you deal with this for a few days out of the year: we get it for 6 months :-P

High of 69F (21 C) and cloudy here low of 57F (14C).

Wonderful weather.

Not your own death, anyway.

And it's an awesome 70 degrees inside my house. I don't give a crap about the outside because I'll be home and asleep during the heat anyway, though I think we're looking at rain for the next couple days.

Normal mid 90's and humid here. Feels like 100+ if your outside. I have a window unit in my room and the central air died last year. Not fun but at least I have one cool refuge from the heat/humidity. The humid 100's are soon to arive here. Been out and about in 108 plus humidity last year.
