Well, two out of three right, at least.

As far as "worst sin of all"... eh, I'd say that's actually pretty low-key if you're only doing it to your own kid(s).

The good doctorb will be burning, however. :-)

Or he will be ecstatic that humans finally got rid of that finicky "fastest sperm" system and we implemented a much more fine tuned "Get the best of the best" system

That's pretty stupid, isn't it? You're presuming to know his will without any kind of Biblical reference; do you think you're a prophet or what?

Your arrogance is astounding.

I bet you wouldn't be saying that if your child was the next Ted Bundy or Hitler.

I've always got your point, I just don't agree with it. Behavioral disorders are treated with drugs all the time. The fact that we might be able to isolate and determine the root cause of said behavioral disorder in no way invalidates my opinion that homosexuality is learned rather than inherent.

Where exactly does one learn this, and which study can you point me to that illustrates the facts behind this assertion? I'm pretty sure that I didn't learn anything of the sort growing up with Reading Rainbow......

You know, my biggest concern with this whole mess is the meddling, period.

I don't think that on my day of Judgment I want to stand before the Throne and tell my maker that I didn't think his plan was good enough for my child and I decided to change it with science. Somehow, it seems to me like that kind of meddling is the worst sin of all, and incredibly presumptuous.

Parents are supposed to love and guide their children, not engineer them. I hope these people are ready for the consequences. Trying to save their children from the wrath (or from societal rejection or, whatever it is they think they are *saving* them from), might just put them into the fire instead and isn't a guarantee that their child will live a long and prosperous life.

Bad business, the lot of it. That doctor should be screened for abnormal brain activity.

Meddling is a good thing. This specific case? maybe not.

If we weren't so curious we wouldn't have things like fire and advanced medical techniques.

It's Science!

It seems to me that a potential side effect of this meddling to prevent lesbianism might be that one will create hyper-feminine nymphomaniacs.

I'm not sayin' that's bad...just sayin'.Smiley: tongue
