So, even as a Celtics fan, I didn't think they could win tonight after their performance in Game 6.

However, it appears I was mistaken & the Celtics very much might win this.

Sweet!

Never mind, Boston could only keep it up for three quarters.

LA stepped their defense up, and the Celtics just withered. They wasted possessions running stagnant iso's. They didn't get out in transition, and they desperately needed those kind of buckets.

What a shame, too. The game was there for the taking, but nobody stepped up to the challenge.

Ugh. I ******* hate the Lakers, too. (Spurs fan)

They're still playing basketball? In f'in June?!

The only sports that should still be taking place in the summertime are baseball and ice hockey. Smiley: mad

Once Fisher's clutch 3 point shot was done, Lakers' momentum gained.

Had a few friends and cousins at Game 7 last night and apparently the rioters were a bit nuts around the Staples Center.

Even when the Celtics were up in the first half, I was getting a bad feeling about the game based on how terrible they were at keeping the Lakers from getting rebounds. All the Lakers had to do was stop missing all their shots to start chipping away at our lead and eventually beat us.

I was near Fenway last night for the game and while there was no rioting, there were a ton and a half of riot police out shutting down the roads and keeping the despondent crowds shuffling in the right direction after the game. At least no one got shot in the eye with a pepper spray bullet this time.
