A co-worker just gave me a giant gourmetish choc chip cookie she picked up at some specialty shop this morning. Yay.

It's a omen of good things to come...-> the weekend.

If the weather holds out til Sunday, we're going to the Old Port Festival. That's the only plan.

You?

I missed work yesterday and didn't return to any hostile voice mails, e-mails or Post-Its on files sitting on my desk/chair. Not that I was expecting any but Lord only knows what happens when you're away.

Bustin out early today and heading up to the lake for some camping. First nice weekend since it's gotten warm. Hopefully the fish are biting.

I was going to visit my Grandma and watch these charity pig races they have down where she lives, but those plans are scrapped. I dunno what I'm going to do now, but It'll take a hell of a lot to top that.

I hear we will be getting rain all weekend so I am probably not going to get to tackle the yard work as planned.

On the bright side the rain is much needed for the new garden we put in last month and I do have indoor projects that I can get started on. Who knew home ownership was so much work?

Been out of work since last Friday. (Doctor's orders) Been trying to cut down the jungle that used to be my yard. Almost done. Have to get lawnmower deck belt #3!

So true.

Also, I read that at first as "those plans are scrapple", which made me a little sad. And hungry.
