Friday!

Today Mr. Tare and his sister are taking the kids to the beach. I am going to hang with the baby and try to have a "relaxing" day. Tomorrow BBQing, pooling and playing with the childers. Sunday, sis-in-law is leaving and we'll be getting back to normal.

Whatchoo got?

Smoke a bunch of pork shoulders for a graduation dinner for some kids from my church, get a class 4 drivers license, and hopefully play some ultimate, although the weather is not cooperating.

Playing in a hockey tournament this weekend with games tonight and Saturday. Helping mom clean out the spare room on Sat and hopefully doing some cooking out. Sunday we are going to try and go to the Texas Folklife Festival, but depending on performance in said tournament I may have a game on Sunday as well.

Should be gorgeous, breezy and warm. No plans what-so-ever, just going to take it easy and be outside as much as possible.

Today: Usual work at the lab followed by helping a friend celebrate their 21st in an appropriate fashion

Saturday: Likely a bit more lab work and helping a friend run participants for her psych study.

Sunday: Hopefully cleaning up if I can convince myself to do it.

Tonight I'll be installing new light fixture(s) in the house.

Tomorrow I get to build a retaining wall (oh yay!).

Hopefully on Sunday I'll get to do nothing but nurse my wounds from Saturday night.

Trying to fix my dad's table saw so we can finish ripping down the wood for my new desk shelves. Then staining, varnishing, hammering, etc etc.

Dropping my Audi off tonight at the mechanic's to be worked on first thing Saturday morning. Photoshoot for Charmaine Saturday morning. Niece's birthday party and then a baby shower on Saturday afternoon. Pick up the Audi sometime that day.

Sunday, working in the office and then doing house stuff catch up.

It's been a pisser of a week, to say the least and I wish I had time to relax this weekend, but I doubt there will be any time for that.

Read that as "Forklift Festival". Somehow it still seemed appropriate...

No plans at all for this weekend. Will likely head over to a friends house Saturday for drinks and hot tub (which my pulled neck/shoulder will appreciate). Other than that, pretty much playing by ear. Will probably play some computer games, maybe do some work around the house. I've got a new garbage disposal unit I've been looking at in the box for a couple months now, but I've been too lazy to put it in. In theory I should do a complete spring cleaning as well, but other that spot stuff, I just haven't put in the effort.

My brilliant "why do today what you can put off until tomorrow" strategy unfortunately results in an ever increasing pile of stuff waiting to be done. Sigh...

Ze drives, Ze do not bouncy bouncy ja, no?

I'm headed to Seattle briefly to see my little brother Graduate (and no, I was not sucessfull in my quest to locate a graduated cylendar to irritate him with - he has my sense of humor, scary huh.)

Then I drive back from seattle same day. which is too much drving, but all the hotels in seattle are booked. This should be... interesting.

Sunday, I plan on doing nothing whatsoever of redeaming value besides wattering my garden and spraying various ants with "make ants explode" crap so they stop eating my strawberries before I get to them. The genetically engineered anti bug harpy eagles are not doing their job effectivly.

No. :(
It was choice of drop the drive or fall myself, so I let the drive fall 2 feet. It was enough for clicky-clicky. We froze it, took it apart, nada. It went to drive hell.
