Baelnic,

And this is why most americans couldn't care less about soccer.

Fortunately we have real sports like basketball, football, and baseball.

Baseball a real sport? far too slow to be a real sport, same with your "football", too many breaks in play, constant changing of the entire team, don't get me wrong I can watch it, but its still no where near as entertaining as football (soccer).

Also how the hell can you call a sport football when you spend most of your time throwing and catching the ball?

Vuvuzelas. Traditional South African tribal horns that used to be made out of bison horns, or something.

Edit: Also, USA! USA! USA!

This is what the "used to" part was included for.

So we get USA vs Ghana and Germany vs England.
Place your bets!

I wouldn't know for USA vs Ghana, but I'm going to say that Germany knocks England out of the tournament.

Wised,

You're joking right?

I'd love to see one of those little bitty soccer players handed a football as they try and get a yard or two. It makes me Smiley: laugh just thinking about it.

Whether you people want to admit it or not unintentional genetic breeding in the south has produced the largest, fastest, and toughest athletes in the world.

There's a couple of Canadian D-men I'd stick on a stage with any southern football player you could pick and not worry about losing money on the Canuck.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't comparing himself to soccer players, or anybody, for that matter.

And making some basic assumptions about Varrus based solely on whimsey (5'10" 170lbs), that means that soccer players are all just over a mile tall, and weigh 85 tons. Smiley: yikes

Bard,

Doubtful. Back in the day I could run a 4.4 40 and had a 45 inch vertical; only downfall was that I was a 6'0 shooting guard with poor ball handeling skills (no pun intended) and no european passport. I have scored 63 against one of the top aau basketball teams in the US though.

It's obvious you've never played pick up ball in the hood in the south. I wouldn't recommend it to any liberal democrats, they use the N word alot.

you're a liberal, so therefore clearly a minority (probably hispanic)

hispanics speak hispanese, where anything ending with an "a" is feminine and "o" is masculine.

you should change to Demeo.
