If a stranger hugged me or shook my hand without warning, yea, I'd be kind of pissed.

What if stranger in question was an adorable little two year old? My son likes hugging people, even if it's only, say, random people waiting in a repair shop lounge.
I hold adorable little two year-olds to different standards, thank you very much.

My adorable grand daughter has to be asked if it's okay to give her a hug. I can't remember what age this started, but at a month short of her 5th birthday, she has begun to run up and give hugs on seeing Jonwin and me. Still must ask for a good=bye hug and kiss.

If she says "No" and you hug her anyway, you best be prepare for her outburst. She isn't someone you want to make unhappy if you can help it, specially when it's time for her to go home.

As a Grandparent, is "when they go home" the best time to make them angry, hyper, etc.

Ones duty as a Grandparent is to spoil your grand children.

Time for her to go home is after I feed her sugar and just has it takes affect. Sending her home with extra treats is also good way to punish your daughter for all she did as a little child. Fact that say grandchild is just like her younger sister, who used to throw major temper tantrums wasn't my fault.
