My son, who was I can only imagine in the throes of religious fervor, decided to create a sand mandala on the kitchen floor. With a pound of sugar.

*sigh*

Like hell I'm throwing it out. I doubt I'd notice a little floor dirt in my Eight O'Clock coffee.

Don't you know anything? Mandalas are ritually destroyed to symbolize the Buddhist doctrinal belief in the transitory nature of material life. Nothing is permanent.

Yes, there is a pic.

I see a phoenix rising in flame. Sign of the reincarnation of cane to sugar to alcohol. Have a drink daddy!

Is it sad (or just alcohol) that I thought he meant that he's leaving the sand sugar formation on his floor and just scooping teaspoons up for his morning coffee?

Save money on the sugar, but get a new floor. Eeeek. (Late 70s tile, if I had to make a guess.)

Edit: And whole word omission typos is my internal alarm clock pinging me and telling me to sleep.

That's awesome.

And, the house precedes me by a year, so mid-70s.

Better sugar on a tile floor than moon sand in the carpet. I see a winged skull too. Very artistic. Go buy more sugar, dude. You don't know where your spawns hands have beenSmiley: sly

Buy more sugar for you, and a bag of sand for him. Leave sand in kitchen, not living room.

I thought so too, at first, but I have alcohol in my system.

Last night it was salt.

He's already done it a few weeks ago with powdered garlic and cinnamon.

I'm going to go the opposite route and keep *him* strapped to the ceiling.

This morning he stirred my coffee with one of my e-cigarettes. [frown]

There's gotta be a way to repackage sugar and sell it for ten times that. Flour too.

It's called pancake mix. It's in bottles in the supermarket.
