I dropped off for a bit there because the tiny terrorist in my tummy dictated that trying to read/type on my phone would make me want to ralph and the only activity Its Majesty wouldtolerate is constant, borderline narcoleptic napping.

Now that I am into week 13 the pollen count is so %$#@! high that I am STILL sleepy and tired, except now I have a wicked headache behind one eye to go with it. Thank God I can look forward to joining mommy blog communities and being alert enough to tweet while my kid falls in a pool.

Also, fuck all you awake bastards. I wish you were all tamales.

Actually, I feel for you. Mrs. Moe spent 7 puking her guts out with 2.1. They put her on anti-nausea meds and even those didn't do the trick. It was a miserable f'ucking existence and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Up side: it'll be over in about 6 months. I still say you should shoot for an 110110 birthday.

I don't think it's quite fair to say she tweeted while her kid was drowning. It does seem odd, though, that the first group she'd reach out to for support while paramedics strove to save her kid was online.

Maybe I'm just olde.

She tweeted about something else from her backyard right before her other son found him and she called the ambulance. While they worked on him, she hit up her tweeps for support & prayers.

Moar twitter followers = moar prayers

My Mom was offered anti-emetics for morning sickness when she was expecting my older brother, but declined. She wasn't convinced that Thalidomide was proven to be safe.

Pity. Woulda been cool to have a big bro with flippers.

Sorry to hear about the misery. Second pregnancies seem to go easier on the morning sickness end of things, but it might just be experience. You just really have to give in to your body...it's not something we do readily.

My first baby-doc told me, get as much sleep as you can now, cuz you'll be lacking for the next 18 years. She was right. I enjoy my uninterrupted, relatively worry-free, long duration sleeps more than about anything since being done parenting:)

Actually, that's not accurate. Every pregnancy is different, and it has absolutely nothing to do with how many pregnancies you have gone through. My third pregnancy kicked my *** harder than my first and second combined. You just never know how it will affect you and past experience tells you nothing.

Flea, while I'd like to say I'm sorry to hear you're feeling shitty, in reality I'm happy you are. For one thing it means your body is doing what it should be, working hard to make that little polovian bebe. For another, I can officially welcome you to the club. Think of this as part of your hazing Smiley: grin

BTW if Joph starts being an *** and even thinks of mocking you for your lethargy, just smile and remind him that today you created a finger/toe/eye/heart/lungs....today. Then sweetly ask him what he did.

I did read somewhere that morning sickness is a moderate predictor of the baby's intelligence.

Congratulations! You're not only nauseous, you're also gestating a smartass.
