Are there any leaders this president hasn't bowed to?

Totally misread this as bowling.

Then hoped it was a picture of Obama with a bowl.

Neither came true, and I was disappointed.

I'm more interested in the pic where it looks like he's trying to kiss the Russian president.

Yeah, I'd have hoped Obama learned his lesson regarding bowling in the campaign. Stick with sports you're good at.

As for the bowing, it's called respect for other cultures. There's a reason that a lot of the planet hates Americans, and it's because many tourists and past presidents have acted like we're too good for their social norms.

Obama's socialist, fascist, communistic Ivy League education taught him the importance of respectful bows in Asian cultures someplace along the way.

I'm happy that he's not giving unsolicited neck rubs and/or vomiting on them.

Not that the vomiting incident was Bush Sr.'s fault, as such. Nausea can arise, so to speak, rather quickly. Still, embarrassing.

Others call it an act of subservience from the leader of our nation.

Mostly the people who don't understand what the word respect means, and those who so rabidly hate the president that they'll latch onto anything to insult him.

Edit: Or what Joph said....

"R*tard" makes me picture Varus pronouncing it like wotsisname from "The Hangover".

Yeah, still not irony. I think I see what you're trying to say, and maybe "Oh! The hypocrisy!" would've been better, but it's still not irony.

You mean like exactly how Varus did? I'm missing the irony you see here.

Oh wait, you're talking about Bush? Atleast when Bush made mistake, it was actually just a mistake(albeit, overblown) as opposed to somehow finding bowing disrespectful.

You know though that if Bush said it was hypocrisy, you'd totally be calling it irony.

Actually, it's likely somewhere between 99.2-99.4%, but now I'm just nitpicking. If you look just at the national implication, the number shrinks to something more on the lines of 70-75% (that's based solely on the % of the U.S. population identifying as conservative recently and adjusting for conservatives who likely don't give a sh;t, like me).

I dunno. It looks like Bush knocked him up before the wedding.

So what if Obama bowed? Bush gave the Saudi King a kiss on the cheek and held his hand. When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
