FYI,

Warhammer Online is experiencing quite the billing debacle.

The thing is, the bumble is not limited to active accounts. People who unsubscribed are also getting billed for hundreds of dollars (in $15.00 increments).

So, if you've ever had a credit/debit card on file with Mythic/Warhammer you might want to check your card statement.

Wow, what a fiasco! They're going to lose a ton of subs due to this! This is why I use Mastercard gift cards with limited amounts on them to pay my subscription fees each month. If anything goes wrong, no worries for me!

I'm pretty sure I've changed CC's since I subscribed but thanks for the heads up.

What a nightmare it must be at Mythic headquarters right now. I'm sure their billing is outsourced to someone and I'm sure the answers in this situation are coming in too slow for piece of mind.

Mythic has done nothing about this yet, except to say they're fixing everything (doesn't that give you a warm fuzzy feeling).
My bank has already reimbursed the OD fees that accumulated. Mythic has not returned the $161.00 dollars they accidentally took from my account.
If it's not in my bank by the end of the day, I'll be reporting it to the police as stolen...and calling a lawyer.
Ohh u go girl!!!

Wow, one guy said he had a reoccurring 6month subscription, and was charged multiples of 70 dollars, totaling over 1000 dollars...

Here I thought it was bad when people thought they were getting double charged on FFXI. Which most of the time turned out to be a new subscriber being charged once for the previous month and once for the next month.

I would hate to have any important checks bounce because some online game decided it wanted to charge me for 12-24 months worth of gameplay in a single month.

Haha. After talking to my banker, it turns out that when a company that has been authorized to take money out of your account takes too much, legally, they have 30 days to make good.

I question whether this was authorized or not, as it didn't happen on my sub date (the 30th), it was just random. Compared to some others though, I got hit pretty lightly. Anyways, it's kind of a pisser because this game was never terribly populated, and lots are quitting over this.

...and I really like Warhammer:(

I'm on page 16 of god knows how many in that thread and frankly i would be shocked if they have any subvscribers left by Monday.

The idea that their subscribers should phone them to sort out problems is insane, they should be emailing each person effected and asking them for details of what they want doing.

Plus it looks like the bogus withdrawals are still occuring....
