Well, that's good enough for me. Anecdotal "evidence" with nothing factual, including his/her destination? Sure thing.

You're welcome and f'uck off.

Considering world peace doesn't actually exist, I'm not sure it can be threatened in the first place. One might more accurately say the USA removed all the especially problematic barriers to world peace. Not entirely accurately, of course, because its not entirely true.

Germany - cowed.
Japan - broken.
The Soviet Union - LOLed.

World Wars since we demonstrated the will to f'uck sh;t up? 0

/snicker Sure, if you mean that Canada is so much like the U.S.

You know, I have a friend that went to the US for a visit not long ago.

They said, "It's just like Canada, but dirtier, poorer, and a little darker."

I went to Canada once. For a country so proud of itself and with such a super cool heritage, there's an awful lot of you crammed as close to our border as you can get. We don't mind the spoon action, but our *** is a little cold. How about you start pulling your own weight and roll over?

It's easy to buy expensive asphalt when your armed forces are as far behind the effective fighting force curve as yours are.

Oh, that. Well, we're just trying to create jobs, there, see....

And if you're judging by Michigan, don't, please. Their roads are just awful.

Our special forces are apparently amazing though.

So, what, America was just half-arsing the first one? I dare say I'd be disinclined to offer any thanks, in that case.

Really, though, assigning America the bulk of the credit for Germany's defeat is historically untenable. Apart from that, of course, one might note that the USA left several large threats to world peace in place - itself, for example.
