Thank you, Mr. Coburn.

teh article wrote:
Coburn is a fierce opponent of the health care bill but told participants at a recent town hall in his home state that Pelosi is a "nice lady" who deserves to be treated with civility.

"Come on now, she is a nice - how many of you all have met her?" Coburn said to groans from the crowd. "She is a nice person. Let me give you a little lesson here, I hope you will listen to me. Just because somebody disagrees with you doesn't mean they aren't a good person."

The local evening radio guy here was playing the audio yesterday, and I couldn't help but admire him (Coburn) just a little bit more.

I'm still ok calling you people ignorant cnuts, but it's nice that one of my guys in leadership can be civil.

When you argue continually against someone's politics, you tend to forget that despite what they believe, many of them are still good people doing what they feel is right. I have a fair bit of respect for this guy, just goes to show that all politics aside, these people are just people.

Nancy grew up in Baltimore, her father was in congress and later mayor, her brother was mayor. She is a nice person.

I'm sure she may have started out as a nice person, and I'm sure she's still a nice person in a purely personal setting. But the sheer volume of lies she spews in order to press forth her political agenda in some kind of teeth gritting "ends justify any means" way places great question on her niceness as a public figure. Hey. Politics is a rough sport though...

Have you see the woman when she's giving some kind of explanation for an agenda item she's pushing? The term "shifty eyed" isn't even sufficient.

I know, I mean you've been setting up Joph all month. You even cornered him into the "Gbaji would back anything the Republican's say" argument. I think it was a pretty cheeky play. Hats off to you, sir.
