British woman sentenced to house arrest and given large fine for selling a goldfish

I think the punishment(and the law itself for that matter) is a bit ridiculous. I can't even imagine what kind of person would even imagine punishing someone like this for selling a goldfish to a teenager...

There's no way that could've been an April fools joke.

If it is, well, what the hell is it doing showing up on a news feed on the 6th? Not to mention, I've been kind of distracted since the 1st by house fires and ****.

I didn't watch the video, I'm at work and don't want the sound on. I just saw that tiny box under it that said "April 1."

Surely it's just an April Fool's joke...

I can only hope that it is, but it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't at this point.

Now see, if I had known that, it would have made a lot more sense to me. If that is the case, then she deserves it.

Girlfriend's ex-roommate burned down half of her apartment. Refuses to admit he did it. Now she and her cat live with me in my tiny apartment.

Just to make a long story short.

if someone were to send an official complaint PM about a given avatar, we usually pull them. We usually leave them until that occurs.

Just don't quote an admin's PM to you explaining that your avatar does not break the standards, so while they can ask you to remove it the choice is yours.

If you do, it WILL be removed.

So yeah. That.

I wouldn't do that as long as I can just block 'em.
