Hot on the heels of Ricky Martin's announcement on his personal blog that he's gay, "True Blood" star Anna Paquin used an unusual medium of her own to announce that she is bisexual.

Most of you probably remember her as Rogue from the X-Men movies.

TBH, I don't even see these celebrity "outings" as such a big deal anymore. Anybody who didn't already know that Ricky Martin was gay probably still believes in the Tooth Fairy.

I just assume all the Hollywood chippies from her generation are bisexual. Isn't that the chic thing these days?

Does anyone else think it's funny that a comic book character who can't touch anyone wants to touch everyone?

This news does nothing for me. I've already imagined Anna with other women plenty of times.

Sigged. :P

What I also find slightly* more interesting about this is that she's engaged. Kinda awkward to tell the public that you like it both ways when you are on the road to choosing one of them...

Of course, they'll probably just have a lot of threesomes.

Judging from views like this, a question to the forum:

Can you be bisexual if you don't hook up with people of the other sex? What constitutes bisexuality? I've always thought it meant being attracted to both sexes but that you didn't actually have to involve physical intimacy with them. But looking at most of the comments here, it seems like most of you think it's more than a feeling (more than a feeling), and actually involves some physical/sexual contact with people of both sexes?

Depends. If you find your sex hot and admire from afar, no bisexual. If you want to f'uck 'em and supress the urge, bisexuality is present.

Yeah. If you have an urge to get in their pants, then you are sexually attracted to them (happy to admire from afar is attraction, but not really sexual in nature). Bisexuals have it tough, though, because they can't be in monogamous relationships without having to suppress half of their urges. Of course, many of them end up pretending they have a monogamous, straight relationship and have a gay trysts on the side (aided quite a bit by the internet--hi craigslist).
