The thought of you replicating is scary. Someday our babies would have to fight for the salvation/damnation of mankind, and I don't have to tell you which side your baby would be on.

Or they'd mate and produce Leviathan.

I'm hoping for conjoined twins and I think they'd obviously have crazy ****** strength so your baby should probably start waving its diaper in the air now.

Chances that the actual date of conception matches the date of the Earthquake in Haiti?

Jophiel would stop speaking to me if I ever gave the details on how this kid was conceived, but suffice it to say it was not accompanied by any major natural disasters.

Did it involve a turkey baster, an eloquently worded letter to Enrique Iglecias and a self-addressed stamped Ziploc bag?

My husband has the biggest man-crush on Enrique. I'm not sure about the baster, though.

Well lucky for us we can figure out the basics of how it happened (AF wasn't the Man that night) and if our imagination fails us for the rest we can have BT make up a story more interesting than the real thing. Though if it did time up it would have covered two angles, the coming together of two Titans, and the inability of the physical world to cope with the sheer terrifying awesomeness of the conception.

Congrats, and best wishes for a smooth pregnancy!

I wasn't sure if the world was ready for Polish-Peruvian hybrids, but I guess we are soon to find out!

Super huge gratz to you both!

Out of curiosity, do you plan to raise him/her/it to be bilingual?

Very good feelings for you both. I will wait on congrats until your child becomes the first hispanic/polish mayor of chicago.

Deballic, dont have your wife wait until thom is 18. then it is assault. Do it when he is 14 or so and its only child abuse if the autorities investigate.

At least they'll be hard-working and most importantly, lapsed Catholic.

Well, I plan to try like hell but it's hard when you're the only one in the household that speaks the language. It's super-important to me, so I want to try for a Spanish-speaking daycare to help me out with it.

Maybe not that hard. A couple I know are American and French, and their kid speaks both even though he only hears it from his dad. English is definitely his primary language, though.

Only mayor of Chicago? At least a seat in the state legislature :)

Congrats you two! Damn bizarre thought if our progeny get old enough to post here. (Insert Nobby is old joke here).
