At least Hamilton provides good sex-ed for tweens. Back in my day it was Clan of The Cave Bear, and they didn't use condoms and the pill.

Yeah, well I was a 12 year old virgin. I didn't know it was bad. I just knew that there was so much of it in The Valley of Horses that it was driving out the plot, so I gave up the series.
Hah, I never realised those books were so old. I only read the first three, but the last one was newly released when I started. Who takes a 12 year break in the middle of a series? Anyway, yeah, I skipped all the sex scenes 'cause they looked awful, even when I was thirteen.
P.S. if HAmilton books are the alternative, "tweens"* should go back to getting their sex-ed from fumbling, dissapointing sex like their grandparents before them.

Incidentally, the DP version was featured in a movie about my home town in TX, or at least, the whorehouse there. The scene from The Bodyguard that features this song is much more emotionally moving, IMO. Then again, I loved The Bodyguard, so I'm biased.
