Due to a stressful few weeks and a week from hell I am going out tonight to drink with some friends who help run another forum. Sat and Sun will consist of me continue drinking, tidy up the house a bit, keep the kids from killing each other, and go through the list of rental properties to go look at next week for our impending move. And drink some more.

You'll have fun with that. I just built my new computer and the only thing I messed up was putting the power button connection on the wrong prongs. A quick fix and it works like a charm!

Staying in the area, just looking to move to a bigger place because THE BABY IS CRAMPING OUR SPACE! Our lease is up in 6 weeks so the Mr. and I thought instead of renewing we'd actually look for bigger digs where the kiddos can act like the demon spawn they are while I dont have to worry about duct taping their mouths when the Mr. has a conference call Smiley: grin

I hope you realize that a common property of demon spawn is that they expand to fill the space they're in.

as long as its only the current spawn that expand Im ok with that. It's if any more spawn decide to join the ranks that I fear.

The last two days of my vaca in sunny florida have been filled with torrential rains and tornados. We just got back from seeing Alice at the Imax. The movie pretty much butchered a classic and the 3-d kept blurring out.

If it clears up tomorrow we're going to the national seashore park at Cape Canaveral and Sunday is a big family picnic.

Might be getting a ******** of rain this weekend. If or when it doesn't rain, I'll be outside clearing up more of the winter debris (ie. driveway gravel and broken trees in the yard).

Planning two new paintings, one small and one large. Working on some embroidery and procrastinating about going to the grocery store. I have a new camera, so if the rain clears up I will take some photos. Saturday is brunch with the girls, and Sunday is home with Jr. while Joph works his second gig.

My sister's birthday party tomorrow, so dinner and a party there. Also finishing up the dreaded Media PC of Doom, which will be computer number 3 for the fleet. It's a decent midrange machine, Core i5 2.66 GHz Quad, USB 3 motherboard, Win 7 64 bit, 4GB DDR3 ram, 1TB drive space, TV tuner card, just a 6600 GT video for the moment to get it operational, will upgrade that later. Oh, and a 46 inch monitor. need to go bluetooth keyboard shopping sometime this week too.

If the weather clears up, going to go helicopter flying / weed destroying in the yard. If it doesn't then maybe the painting prepepration will get a little further.

edit, oh: and I bought a CNC milling machine. Should be here in aobut 5 weeks. At which time I will make cool ****.

Paid my bills and then went to see The Abbey Road Band.

They don't look like the Fab Four, but they surely do sound like them.

The rest of the weekend through Monday is work, work, work.

Last night my brother-in-law called and said that siblings were going to try to get over to my dad's this weekend and go though stuff.

since Jonwin is of course working today, I got dropped off at 8:35am, which is ok, since my sister and other b-i-l are already up and there is coffee made.

While my sister tries to get inventory lists compiled in Excel, we go through closets and drawers. I realize that Jonwin could score some very nice suits if he was there to try them on so we play phone tag some. since not all of the family have had a chance to say no to them, and he wasn't willing to come over long enough after work to try the jackets on, he may lose his chance of very owning a wool suit that costs more then he makes in 4 to 6 months.

If he doesn't want to dress coat I did bring home that has sleeves long enough for him, my daughter wants it for her S.O.

I feel worst then yesterday now and they expect me to go back tomorrow, so we can try to sort though 50 boxes of books that range from best selling mysteries series. to my great grand father, Preacher's religious books.

At this rate, I may not make it to my weekly appointments for therapy. though will need it more then ever, since few of us had to yell at my druggie brother. He started on my sister about it's taking so long to divide everything and btw could he have some of his share of the money today? If he hadn't invited himself to move in and smoke crack in the house, it wouldn't have needed to take another 6 months work, to get it ready to sell. Until then none of us is getting any money. I was just one of 3, that lost it and yelled at him.

If he dropped dead I don't think any of us would shed many tears. Would be even nicer if he does soon and we would just give his share of the money to his 2 grown children.

My daughter and I took home more of the vintage clothing that range from 1800's to my mom's dresses from the 1970's. My costumer friends will die of jealousy when they see the few things I'm willing to let us wear. No I refuse to sell the beaded black velvet cape and black velvet four corner hat that may

I grew up longing for the cape with it, what my mom said was monkey fur trim since I was a kid. Once I can photos will be put up on facebook.

Since it's so cold and rainy today, I made a fire in the woodstove then put up some simple shelving in the bedroom for the DVD/VCR, cable box and PlayStation so Thom would stop popping DVDs in and out, or pulling out the cable card, or stuffing the VCR full of pencils and spoons, or setting the input channel to 49. Now he only has access to the TV itself, yay!
