Guenny, you claimed you have never broken any of the documented forum rules, and challenged me to tell you which ones you had. I did so. if they were sufficeint to warrent a ban, I would have banned you already. But don't try to claim the guiltless innocent niche.

Examples of evadeing the filter include for example:
https://everquest.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=28&mid=123384889770444006#msg123385355873132302

Where the filter was mostly evaded by replacing one letter with an *. There are also at least 20 instances where you quote others doing so. This is breaking the filter, and it isn't allowed in OOT. Again, Not really a major breakage, but you asked about rule violations, that was one.

guenny wrote:

I'm not intentionally butting heads, I'm just blindsided that apparently I am one to be made example of.

I'm really not even sure what you are on about in this thread. The one, and only reason I said anything to you in particular was the fact that you went and posted that profile after I just finished telling people to stop doing that ****. When an admin tells you to stop. You stop or we remove you. It's that simple. I was done telling you that 3 posts ago, and seeing as you stopped then, that was the end of it as far as I was concerned. I'm really not sure why you are continueing to make an issue about it at this point. You asked for examples of rule evasions, I provided them. Now you are pissed that I provided them? Alright then. Yes, there are bigger offenders in the image department. And yes, Katie did start most of it. The point being though that you were not blameless, and were also in violation multiple times in your own right. Most people don't feel the need to routinely break the rules, or when they do, can at least contain it to Asylum where it is basically all but expressly condoned.

If I was going to ban you today, I probably would have already done so. I don't need further justification, nor would I waste my time trying to provide it.

If you dislike how I handle things on this message board however, I would advise that you would be better served finding a board more to your likeing elsewhere. I wrote the ******* rules in the first place, so I think you will agree that my handling of the rules is 100% in line with their intent and purpose.

If you cannot exist within that framework, then so be it.

Wait, an asterisk in a word is still considered breaking a filter? No, I'm being serious. Really? I mean, I thought that was a way of getting around the ambiguous $*(&# filter for most words, because sometimes it gets lost in context. Anyway, if a post of Dave Chapelle quotes is the worst you can pull up, I'd still say you've got next to nothing.

Quote:

So I warrant a spank because I quoted someone else who broke the filter?! Seriously? WAT! This is all so absurd, Kaolian. If I'm too non-subservient to have the privileges to post on your precious spam board, don't @#%^ing threaten and scold me like a child and embellish any infractions you may have been able to do a forum search for. I'm an independent adult, a customer, and a human being, and while you may have some arbitrary authority over me as long as I continue to post on your message boards, you really have no control over my life. Sorry, butt you'll get far more pathetic joy out of the bannination than BT and I would ever feel upset.

I'd also like to add, that my persecution wouldn't stop if I were to only post in the Aslyum. I have had a completely innocuous post banned from there, just because I hurt the wrong feelings. AS I SAID, if you, as admins, can't handle the weak of heart around here and feel like I'm the cause, I really would appreciate the ban. Make an example out of me.

The politics of the message board are so warped.

Hold on, you can't say "f*ck" in the OoT?

I say that jokingly, but seriously, the filter itself changes "sh*t" in the same manner. I always assumed that wasn't considered breaking the filter.

Anyway, I don't want to fight with you, Kao. In fact, I want to rub petroleum jelly all over your back and slide down it like my own personal Kao-slide. That's how close I feel to you right now, but you do go overboard on Guenny. I contend that if she weren't involved with me, you'd hardly know she existed. I'm fine with altering my behavior, I mean hell, I'd reckon I delete three out of four posts without submitting them because I'm afraid of breaking the nebulous rules around here, but acting like she's such a malignancy around Allakhazoo's is a joke. I won't go on, because she can defend herself, but I wanted to make it clear that from my unbiased perspective, as someone who only decided to marry her, she doesn't warrant a modicum of the negative attention she receives from you.

Wow, nail yourself to a cross next why don't you? You got told to not do something on a message board. That's hardly persecution. then you asked for examples of past wrongdoings, and when presented with them, complain about it. Geez lady, make up your ******* mind already. Also, for the record, "getting around a filter" is the same as evading a filter, is the same as breaking a filter, is the same as violating the filter rules. Again, it wasn't a huge infraction but YOU ASKED FOR EXAMPLES.

So would you prefer a stoneing before the self immolation, or after? remember to use unleaded gas or else you'll break the EPA regulations!

Is she always like this?

Point is, he took an innocuous post of mine out of context, nuked it, quoted what looked bad, chastised me for it, half-heartedly apologized, and now it's my fault. I just want an explanation, is all. You may be trying to maintain a child-friend environment, but face it, Kao, I am an adult. I deserve to be treated like one. If you didn't refuse to show me even the slightest bit of respect because of whatever hard-on you have for my husband, I'm not gonna roll over and take it. But not once have ever I received a PM saying "Guenny, so-and-so would like you to stop saying such-and such". Instead, I get karma-camped, nuked, and threatened out in public, which just adds fuel to the fire. I know you have trouble with ANYONE challenging your authority in any way whatsoever, and like to make an example out of anyone who does, because you're hyper-defensive, but if you had gave me one reason to respect you over these years I'd probably not have a problem with you requesting that I tone down whatever I'm doing over the top.

Nah, but you are.

You're pretty much always this caricature of impotency, misinterpreting simple jokes and earnest concern as malicious assault on your eggshell ego and then flying off the handle about it. I'd call it endearing but it's always just too exhausting and disappointing interacting with you, Kaolian. That's not meant to insult, dude, I'm just relating my perspective. Also, you're a doodie-head.

Time to put on my other hat.

I am asking the programmers to gather together the information from the poster making threats. I will be issuing a subpoena to AOL to get your name and address and then I will be taking this matter to the FBI. Threatening bodily injury to another person over interstate wires is a federal offense. I especially take offense when that person happens to be one of our administrators. I will leave this matter to the authorities. You are also forever banned from this site. If you show up again, I will file civil charges against you for harassment, and in addition to the jail time you face, I will take your house and assets (or if you are a minor, the house and assets of your parents).

I am also closing this thread. This has gone far enough.

Now wait just a minute here. If I were karma camping you, you would know it. I timed it once actually, it would take me all of 10 minutes to drop someone with 3,000 posts from guru to sub scholar if I need to.

Actually, looking at your rate history, I've rated you up 6 times, nuked 4 of your posts, and never actually rated you down. I'd think if I were out to persecute someone they would have at least a few 1.00's tacked on there. And 4 posts is not alot. I didn't check, some of those could very well be double posts that we nuke on a regular basis to keep things cleaned up. hell, I've nuked more than 4 posts of almost everyone here just because of that very issue.

You do something stupid in public after I just got done telling people to stop doing that stupid something, I am going to say something about it in public. I don't particularily care who you are. You give me a reason to mute or ban you, I'll mute or ban you on your own merits, though if barkingturtle ever does get banned and he comes back using your account, you would also get muted in that scenario. But not before that occures.

Again, you are the only one trying to continue this at this point. I'm really not sure what you are hopeing to accomplesh besides irritating me. You aren't going to get any more in the way of appology for my initial interpertiation of that post than you did get already, and I won't appologize in the slightest for calling you out on that really ****** move of digging up that profile to try and stir the pot when I was trying to calm the situation down.

I'm kind of at a loss here. Usually when people get a relitivly minor slap on the wrist over something like that, they are content to let it go, not push for something further. No respect, ok, got it. Dislike me, ok, got that too. Not likely to name a child after me? ok, I can live with that. Anythign else, or are we done here?

[NWS]

I think the important thing to remember is that since this thread is in the Asylum now, I can write sexually graphic words!

For instance, last night I was watching what I initially thought was a snuff film and it turned out it was in actuality just grainy amateur **** featuring this fat chick whose name escapes me and these two dudes in leather masks. The broad inserted a beer-bong into the prick-hole of one the dudes and then into the funnel she released from her bowels the juiciest mess of sh*t I have ever witnessed. The dude's ****** swelled like a water-balloon under a faucet and his eyes rolled back in his head. The other dude, the dude in the other leather mask, bent the fatty over and started ramming her pooper, using her warm diarrhea as lube. She jerked the first fella off like a caveman on the verge of discovering fire, the beer-bong still jammed in his urethral opening, bobbing back and forth like a lazy Jack-in-the-Box. He bellowed with the arrival of his ******, and she ripped the beer-bong out and forty ounces of her own soupy sh*t and the dude's brown **** sprayed into her face and ran down her cheeks and her chin and slid off like three-day-old pea-soup. The guy butt-fUcking her pulled out two handfuls of her dirty hair and started scrubbing her face with it. It was really quite a spectacle and I'm glad I got to share it with you.

Nope, just a couple more things:
Firstly, I wasn't talking about being admin karma-camped, I was just talking about in general. You wouldn't know or notice because it's not something I ***** about because I really don't care. It's just such a passive-aggressive way to try to belittle someone.

Second: When I quoted you in reply, in my nifty Firefox browser with built-in spellchecker, I found 9 valid spelling errors.

Third: I just hate that whenever someone questions the bureaucracy on an internet forum that it's such a big deal. I honestly didn't believe I had any serious offenses that came anywhere near to warranting a ban, and you go on with a laundry list of things I'd hardly ever done, if at all. Like I said, I was being inquisitive. I'm not the kind of person who strictly adheres to rules, but I'm also not the kind of person that goes out of my way to break them. I feel like all the slaps on the wrists I've gotten over time have been for petty offenses that people get away with every day. That's why I question, because it's frustrating to be confused on the rules of this site. You scold me in one post for saying f*ck, then joke with Jophiel about using f--k. I'm tired of getting picked on because I get on your nerves as opposed to actually doing something warranted of banning.

But that's my final word. I know I have to let you have your chance to get yours in, and I accept that as one of your personality flaws. Go for it. I'm going to go eat delicious brownies.

Ohoho, the old "i'm going so make a closing arguement and then say that anyone replying to it is lame" trick. Haven't seen that one in a while. Nice touch. Lucky for me anythign that = +1 posty count is a good thing.

Also, I have never, not once, ever, in the history of the forum claimed to be an adequate speller of any language. I'm suprised there were only 9. I'll have to try harder nxet time.

I know it's semantics here, but you didn't ask about banworthy things, you asked about rule breaking. I already stated for the record that if I thought you had done something banworthy you would already be banned.

Since you asked, no, actually, you aren't being karma camped. I checked. People do rate you down, but your last 40 rate downs over a 1 month period came from 32 different people. You did have a karma camper about 6 months ago, but they got no rated. They were also karma camping others.

I really don't think i've gone out of my way to target you specifically for anything to be honest. I call them when I see them. Barkingturtle might get sat on a bit mroe than some simply because he has an admin notes list longer than any of the other not yet banned posters. The times I have said things have mostly been related to the fact that you should definitly know by now not to do such things in OOT, and I only say anything when you are actually doing them.
