I just don't even know. Smiley: laugh

Huffington Post, yeah, yeah wrote:
"Let me tell you a story about Rahm Emanuel," Massa started. "I was a congressman in my first eight weeks, and I was in the congressional gym, and I went down and I worked out and I went into the showers...I'm sitting there showering, naked as a jaybird and here comes Rahm Emanuel not even with a towel wrapped around his tush, poking his finger in my chest, yelling at me because I wasn't going to vote for the president's budget. Do you know how awkward it is to have a political argument with a naked man?

"By the way, what the heck is he doing in the Congressional gym," Massa continued. "He goes there to intimidate members of Congress...He's hated me since day one, and now he wins."

I guess since Massa stands accused of groping and otherwise behaving inappropriately with male staffers it's... tit for tat?

Rahm Emmanuel must be hung like an ox if he uses his nakedness to intimidate.

It's amusing to think so but I imagine just having the nerve (and yes, I almost said balls) required to have a naked confrontation with a Congressman is a potent (can't help it) club weapon.

"Now they're saying I groped a male staffer. Yeah, I did," he said. "I groped him until he couldn't breathe, then four guys jumped on top of me. It was my 50th birthday."

"That's why I resigned. I don't know how else to put this. I own this behavior," he said.

Later on CNN's "Larry King Live," Massa tried to clarify the incident after King raised questions about its nature.

"There's no other way to define groping but sexual," King said. "Groping is sexual."

"I never admitted groping," Massa said.

I bet he only did it cause Emanuel traumatized him in the shower. []

Even if he wasn't big enough to be intimidating, it is off-putting to have a conversation with exposed junk. Especially if the other guy walks up when your sitting down.

Even moreso if the dude grabs his **** down toward the balls and starts waggling it at you and demanding in an inappropriately comical voice(think Oscar the Grouch or Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh) that you vote in accordance with the party. Talk about awkward.

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that Massa was hiding in the shower like a little ***** and just couldn't believe Emanuel would come in after him.

Cynical and very amused.

The White House has issued a denial that the infamous shower incident ever happened, which is interesting. Assuming it happened, why deny it when it only adds to Emanuel's rather ferocious reputation? I suppose a pro forma denial plays well to the citizenry.

If is really didn't happen, that's even more interesting. Smiley: laugh

Most of what Massa has to say appears to be bullshit. It was funny to hear Glen Beck apologize for wasting everyone's time when he had Massa on yesterday and the guy spent an hour saying pretty much nothing. To some conservative's credit, the Weekly Standard ran a column yesterday (pre-Beck) warning conservatives not to embrace this guy because he's full of shit, his stories are full of holes and they'd only embarrass themselves.

Well if there were only 21 votes that mattered, maybe he'd have a chance of getting an accurate fucking whip count instead of choking on every bill that matters.
