Just when I think people may start to take you seriously, you do something spectacularly idiotic enough to remind us all you are the tardiest of 'tards. God Bless ya.

Sarah Palin crosses the border for Canadian healthcare.

Quote:
She has criticized Canada's system, saying it should be dismantled in favour of free enterprise. And she has denounced President Barack Obama's health care reform plan as ushering in socialized medicine. But during a weekend speech in Calgary, the former Republican vice-presidential candidate acknowledged her family used medical care in Whitehorse, the capital of Canada's Yukon Territory, decades ago.

Also, you have no idea what irony is.

Did you get that line wrong on purpose, and I'm too daft to get the joke?

#5REDACTED, Posted: Mar 10 2010 at 10:28 AM, Rating: Unrated, (Expand Post) What's spectacularly idiotic is comparing no care to bad care. In her situation Palin could have done nothing or gone to the nearest medical facility, which happened to be Canadian. That you associate this with her criticism of socialized healthcare illustrates what a stupid ***** you really are and just how far you're reaching to push your agenda.

If she hadn't been the VP candidate would Obama still have won?

"Alanis Morissette Song. Nuff Said" would be perfect were it true, but apparently it isn't "nuff".

Yes on purpose, likely on daft, definite on sh:tty joke that you probably shouldn't have gotten in the first place.

Sure, it's expedient; but would you go to a hospital in Barcelona knowing they were downright evil and used death panels?

Depends on whom McCain had selected instead. There was a pretty sparse field, as I recall.

Probably. McCain was hurting with his own base before Palin so really it just shifted the pain from Republicans to independents. Also McCain's retarded response to the economic collapse cost him a fair amount of credibility when the economy became the dominant issue.

But, as Samira says, it depends on the VP. Who knows?

Not likely, considering he made that comment on the heels of firing the opening salvo in an effort to hijack DSD's post about the security guard and turn it into a rant about unionization.

It probably would have been closer than it was. Hard to say if it would have changed the election though. My own anecdote though was that out of my friends who would have voted for McCain, they all either voted for Obama or didn't vote at all because of their extreme distrust of Palin.

No, the story is that having used socialist health care in the past, she still condemned it as pure evil. So what if it benefited her as a child? So what if it could benefit millions of children now? If it's evil then, it must be evil now. If it requires death panels now, it must have done then.

We've never had death pannels. We leave our decisions to the animals. We stick you in a room with a moose and if it doesn't trample you, you get the surgery. If it does trample you, then you get a different surgery.
