I have no earthly clue. What she does have, is a booty shaking gif that I didn't have to upload as she was all ready there.

It's about as witty as I get @ 6:13 AM.

That looks like Vanessa Minillo.

Also: We had an earthquake in IL not even a month ago.

I have a trip to Cuba from April 2nd to April 9th.

I wasn't worried until I looked at the Atlas and noticed where the last few earthquakes hit.

Yeah, I'm going to San Fran next week and I have a feeling that The Next Big One is holding its breath for my plane to arrive.

Could you imagine if it hit like 1.5 minutes before landing? They are trying to confirm runway clearance as it rips in half...

Er, well... Maybe you don't want to imagine it? >.<

The amateur geologist in me is imagining a slow moving inverse tsunami. The Earth's mantle under the crust is liquid, right? What if the Haitian earthquake triggered a giant, slow wave in the dense mantle, which loosened up the Nazca plate and caused the Chilean quakes, which then caused another wave and loosened up the Pacific plates, etc etc.

I don't think it works like that, but it's still cool to think about.

Our company organizes recreational trips once a year, and this year I had the choice between Vienna and Cuba.
Vienna is a lot closer and a lot cheaper to get to on my own. Since our company pays two thirds of my costs and a third of my wife's, the total comes to something affordable.

We've already been to most major tourist destinations in Europe, and I intend to check out the American continent, the Far East and Australia before I venture into the Arab countries (I live in one, I like a change of scenery when I travel).

So, that's why Cuba. I am sure I'll come back loaded with cigars, rum, and the super secret local mojito recipe. Maybe a lock of Che's beard, too.
