Hey, I don't want to take anything away from this game. This game was f'ucking awesome to watch. One of these teams was going to win a hard fought, and quite literally fought except for the flying fists, game. This really was the most exciting Olympic hockey game I've seen in 30 years. Well won, Canada.
For the US though to come out and play that hard when everyone thought it would be Canada/Russia, well done amazing. Hot damn.

I love it! USA may have sheer numbers of world class winter athletes (total 37 medals), but Canada has the BEST athletes. 14 Golds with this game being the bing on the cherry.

Exactly how I felt. This was the last good game we (Oiler fans) will get to be REALLY excited about for four years, assuming Bettman allows NHL'rs in Sochi. Oilers looking to be bad for a long time...
