I'm just interested, who is supposed to be the most intimidating on this board? How did they gain their reputation and when did they last reinforce that image?

Edited to add:

The reason I asked the question is that I saw the following disclaimer for the Asylum forum: "No holds barred forum for deep OOT discourse. Not for the faint of heart.".
I also read Smasharoos disclaimer while he was posting. I do not feel either disclaimer is needed and the responses here certainly indicate this.

Shouldn't this be asked someplace like =10, =21, or =268? Someplace with people dumb enough to believe that text is somehow intimidating?

Well, Totem's probably killed, raped or robbed someone by now, so that puts him way ahead of the rest of you pansies.

Once my husband posted here. That was scary, if not intimidating.

No, that's because our team is full of Primadonnas.

I now picture you like a chocolate fondant. Cooked and firm on the outside but once you look inside, it is all melty and delicious and utterly inviting.

The only Assylumite I ever felt intimidated by was Alla (may he walk in fields of gold). The rest of you pink mindies are harmless.

He's actually quite tame in person.

Or maybe his foppish hairdo is designed to induce you to lower your guard...

For people without good personal boundaries, the Asylum used to be a lot scarier 2 to 4 years ago. But a lot of trolls moved on and out, and a lot of the regulars that stayed seemed to stop trolling so much when they had kids that hit school age.

I could insult people more, if you want. To prove my dedication to the cause, I will insult everyone in this thread.

Kastigir, you are the only person in this forum more pathetic than Varrus. You are an immense burden to anyone with the smallest shred of empathy. Every time you come into a discussion and say your piece - invariably either some banal comment that I can only assume you consider to be insightful or something horrendously stupid - I feel so embarrassed for you. Every time people let your idiocy pass without comment I feel so relieved. If you had any decency at all you'd quit posting and put my mind to rest.

DSD, you're dull as fuck. Has anything interesting ever happened in your boring little life? No, don't tell me. I don't want to know what it's like to be bored to death. Tare, you're pretty much the same. Lacking any distinguishing features, you merge into one great red blob - a description that has, I'm sure, been applied to both of you before.

Iamadam, you're a unending fount of inanity. I'd go on, but I'm afraid there's nothing more to say.

Catwho, your continued failure to make anything meaningful of yourself, while unsurprising, really is letting the movement down. I'd hate to compare you to a leech, but my hands are tied. It's the most apt simile for you there is. My advice? Suicide.

lolgaxe, if I were a more articulate and patient man, I would attempt a comprehensive list of your faults. As it is, the task is too vast for a man of my virtue.

Aripyanfar, I'm honestly not sure where to start with you either. You have many faults, and they fall in two categories: 1) those you flaunt proudly and clutch to your chest; 2) those you hide from yourself in twisted mazes of tortured logic, rationalisation and self deception. Which should I start with? Those in the former are the more obvious, and if I were to omit them it would seem strange to those posters here with a little insight, but you are already aware of them and do not care. What could possibly come of bringing them up? I think I'll take the lazy man's path and leave both unspoken.

Elinda, I don't have anything bad to say about you. I don't have anything good either, though, and that's probably because you're mediocre in every way. You might think "isn't that bad?" - no, silly, it's just mediocre.

Ugly, I think we both know you're not a good man. Of course, you're fa from the only one, but most people do at least make an effort within the limits of their intellect. Sure, they might not be able to puzzle out what's right, and their will might fail them now and then, but these failure ar sporadic; by indulging your faults your failure is made continuous.

Did you think I'd forgotten you, Gwynap? Oh no, no, no. I was just saving the best for last! Yes, while the lives of the above are sad in their own special ways, yours is a jack of all failings. A tale of imbecility, ignorance and frustrated expectations. In truth, I don't know if you're the worst person to ever live, but you'd at least make it to the semi-finals. Now, I'm not saying you should kill yourself, but maybe we shouldn't rule it ou- no, actually, perhaps we should. I can't think of any worse torment than being you. The punishment fits the crime so well it becomes it in an act that affirms everything I believe re the limitless grace and beauty of the Universe. It's transcendental, really, which is surprising in something associated with one such as yourself, but I guess that such grand things can touch the poison of one such as yourself and yet remain pure. Indeed, I can't help but feel

Ah, fuck it.
