My bad. We've got a big presence in Canada, with one office outside Vancouver. I've got a little riding on the tournament already.

I'm surprised that you're even aware of that strange game on ice. What team do you root for (in the NHL), the Kings? Ducks?

Nothing good comes from L.A.

Beside, it was born and raised in Northern California, so nature says Sharks. I didn't become a real hockey fan until I moved to the State of Hockey, though. The first couple of years it was mostly U of M, then when we got the Wild, I got season tickets.

Of course I'm hoping for gold, but after the horrific season the Oilers are having I have lost my faith in hockey. Still, we have a sweet team.

On the grounds that the Clippers more than make up for the Lakers, or on the grounds that the Lakers should never be mentioned in the hopes they'll go away and quietly suck for a few years decades?

You'd think they would in Canada, but with Ovechkin playing this well, it's not hard to see Russia destroying everyone like it was 1976.

There's a reason there are no Oilers are on the Olympic team.
