Tristan at Christmas.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. He is, in fact, the size of a 5 year old, at 2 and a half. He weighs twice what I weighed when I entered kindergarten (I was one of those really tiny miniature kids.) I'd be worried that it's a weight issue, except he actually has very little chub. Also, it's not just his weight, his entire body is big. He's broad-shouldered and barrel-chested. He's on his way to outgrowing 5Ts, his head circumference is roughly that of an adult (attested to by the fact that last summer, a friend of ours put his baseball cap on Tristan and it fit without any adjustment) and his shoe-size is 11 extra wide.

Let's hear it for the boob juice, I guess.

Yeah, our little linebacker.

I haven't yet given up hope he'll take up more intellectual pursuits, however.

Judging by his eyebrows, did Cindy McCain get a hold of that kid with a magic marker?

Seriously, though, he's a cutie. But he looks so mischevious with those eyebrows!

As someone said a while back, he's grown into his eyebrows quite a bit...when he was a baby, they were a tad sinister.

I know that Flea and I seem similar in that we both have more balls than the average male poster here and vajayjays, but I promise we're not the same femme. (Pssst, Flea requested spawn pics)
He's looking cute, Am. Can't believe how much he's grown.

Pffft, mommy and daddy can't live the high-life on a PhDs salary.

Is it just me or is there something a bit roguish about Xavier and Ashe? Soren looks like a snuggler, though.

Jesus, Ambrya, that child is gigantic. Same beautiful eyes.

DSD you already know your boys are all adorable, and all look different.

Not sure if I can post a pic of junior later, last pic of him here he was five, and we're coming up on his eleventh birthday in a few weeks. Smiley: eek

DSD, you must have the same gene as my brother.

He is a huge slab of half man / half yeti monstrosity yet he somehow managed to produce an exceptionally cute kid. How does that work?

Xavier is my intent child. Ashe is the rogue, no question on that. Soren is just pretty much happy as hell unless he's teething.

it's weird how genetics work, isn't it? Dont worry though. They may not look like me, but at least 2 out of 3 have my personality and the third is still shaping up so there is hope. All is not lost Smiley: wink

Not great pics, if you're my FB friend you can see more I think. I'll see if I can find some later on that are better.

Soren looks like you - at least in the picture above, compared with the pics I've seen of you.

Oh yeah, he's all boy that's for sure. We haven't had any medical emergencies in a few months, so we're due. I'm predicting a broken arm in basketball.

Cute pictures. Nadenu, aren't young kids mostly cartilage though? My cousin has a six year old boy who I last saw jumping tree to tree with no shirt on, yelling "I'm a little devil" and it's the only way I can explain why he is not in a full body cast.

Pretty much, yeah. He seems to bounce back from most stuff, literally. He's got a scar on his face where he ran head-long into the monkey bars and bounced off, haha. And he's only had one broken bone from sailing off a tire swing that was going really fast (he sailed off on purpose, btw). But there's never a time that he's not covered in bruises, scratches, etc. I have stock in Band-Aid.

Wint, as always, absolutely captivating. I hope you have stocked up like mad on guns.
Nad OMG I know he and Zavi are the same age but its different seeing friends kids grow up!!! He's a cutie!!!
Annabella, kids bounce 95% of the time. But it's always that 5% that makes them end up in ER Smiley: oyvey
