Why do you bring up the teleprompter? Just to remind us Obama needs that much more help to speak?

Personally, I would use note cards over writing your talking points out on your hand. It doesn't look as silly.

Ah, the difference between this kind of post from me regarding Sarah Palin, and a similar post from Varrus/ThiefX/gbaji regarding Obama, is that Sarah Palin is a goddamned idiot, and Obama is a former law professor versed in extemporaneous speaking. So when one of them goes "omg Obama teleprompter" I know they're just doing what conservatives do, bash the Democrat in power because they have no other way of expressing their incoherant rage at a Dem being in power in the first place. Threads mocking Palin, on the other hand, are comedy gold for no other reason than . . . well, she's a goddamn idiot, and seems to love to prove it at every opportunity.

So because we consider Obama to be smarter than Palin.. we should laugh at her having a couple words scribbled on her hand, but yell at anyone who criticizes Obama for his constant usage of a teleprompter?

Now I am one of those conservatives you like to bash so much so now, why don't you go ahead and explain that for me.

Now I know things get pretty partisan here from my lurking but how can imply such a falsity that the conservatives bash Obama for no other reason than because he is the opposition yet the liberals mock Palin solely because of these stupid things you say she does?



Well, I won't argue the fact that standing next to McCain really boosts up one's attractiveness by comparison. If one were to ignore the fact that Palin's views don't align with his/hers then Palin is far from ugly.

It's really pretty simple. That you don't get it doesn't bode well for any of your attempts to convince anyone here of your supposed intellect. Teleprompters are commonplace in the media and have been used by speakers for decades, including present and past presidents. Conservative attempts to paint Obama's use of a teleprompter as some kind of handicap are just plain stupid.

On the other hand, crib notes on the palm of your hand, nay, actually getting caught looking at them on camera, is just plain embarrassing. Adding to that embarrassment is the fact that she wasn't trying to remember someone's name or specific facts, but merely the essential talking points. She has no self-direction and is merely riding the wagon painted into existence for her by a staggeringly desperate republican party.
