I forgot to mention, I get to start next week off with jury duty. Maybe. If they don't cancel it. And I get selected. Here's hoping to none of the above happening.

I'll do a little work but mostly resting up from being sick and playing with the kid-os. My four year old just got her very own WoW account and is busily doing what I imagine any four year old does in WoW: swim, climb to very high places, jump off, and rein death upon innocent creatures. Especially cows. We're watching the Superbowl Sunday and we'll have a few friends over. My Valentine's day present came early and my wife is itching to try it out...whatever it is...so sex is likely.

This is why I love being on contracts, it gets me out of jury duty as I have obligations to fulfill!

Since I don't really work Monday through Friday, my weekend started already to some extent. I did some Pilates this morning and went out for Thai Food but now I have to bundle up, go to school, do some work and then go to this trustees meeting b/c I'm involved with student gov't. Then there is supposed to be a big snow storm so probably I'll finish my paper and read this book, "Race, Money and the American Welfare State" and a bunch of articles. I'm hoping to be in a good position by Monday evening b/c I have three new therapy clients lined up and need to be pretty focused and well-rested. I might go to the movies this weekend but I'm not sure and I thought about going out tonight but it might already be storming, so we'll all be rushing home.

Our plans to go out tomorrow to the Winter-fest, were my middle child was to be the Queen of the dark fairies, but they canceled it due to snow last night. Oldest is most disappointed since she had her outfit all worked out. This was our off Ren faire season event and a chance to wear everything when it's not not and sweaty.

So, I'm going to spend the weekend watching the snow, while I play LOTR:O. That is as long as we have power. I'm not worry about the 12 to 24 inches of snow, it's the wind tonight and tomorrow as the northeastern blows past us. I been toward enough of these February storms, that I know the drill. Bread, check, Milk, check. TP check. already own a snow shovel and hot chocolate, while the post roast is in the slow cooker. Jonwin did food shopping yesterday and will be home early since the museum is closing early.

I'm at the end of a mentally exhausting week. I'm fed up, tired and in need of 2 days of solid rest.

I'll be painting a room, going out running and maybe visiting the gym. Its very likely that I may end up drunk tonight.
I also need to think about going shopping for my spring and summer clothes ... hmmm ... retail therapy may provide a temporary boost that I'm after Smiley: grin

Oh yes, right now? @#%^ the world Smiley: nod

Tonight getting my bangs trimmed while Joph drops off Jr. with his mother. Tonight a quiet night, then tomorrow a facial and body scrub at the spa followed by 50s pinup fun, steak with a side of steak, and early V-Day shenanigans. Sunday I take a cue from Jehovah and rest.

There's a court filing that I need to get in order for Monday and Tuesday so I'm most likely going to be working. House stuff to fit in and of course Super Bowl.

I had the day off today, spent the first half getting most of the rest of the barkdust distributed. Still have some side yard areas to tackle, but that will be a job for another day. Spent the rest of today repairing my mom and dad's main computer, which encountered a rather spectacular power anomely which toasted the power supply and fried a soundblaster sound card, which was doing unfortunate things to the OS load. It's all better now though.

now that thats done, I'll be assembling the dreaded media PC of doom, such as it is. I've had too many other rojects going on to really get the parts in it that it deserves, so it will definitly be the "special" child of the trio for a while, but I plan to throw a new board and processor at it eventually. But for now, it will be the all important downstairs link to forums and work IRC, so I can work from downstairs during the summer and not cook myself from the heat of the main gaming rigs. It too will be a windows 7 64 bit box.

Tomorrow, more yardwork, then sunday watch the superbowl. Apperently I'm rooting for the saints in partial appology for having nearly caused their city to be obliterated with my freaky weather disaster causing abilities.

I'm just maxing and relaxing this weekend before I have to head to Rock Island County, IL and spend some time in jail.

Apparently, if you get a speeding ticket there 8 years ago, they wont just let you pay it, they issue a warrant and demand you show up. So that'll be fun.

I'm a big fan of jail time. Have fun!

Cozy night in last night with nice food, wine, TV and cuddles. Oh and booked a nice holiday for the end of the month. More Camel Riding, hangovers and sunstroke! Smiley: waycool

Today, she's off to the hairdressers and I've had a bit of a spring clean - 7 suits to the Dry Cleaners, up to date on laundry, and I've finally got round to clearing out the Noblet's old room to turn it into a study. Might go buy a desk later this afternoon.

Friends round for dinner tonight. They have two little 'uns, so I'm making Pizza. I'm making the bases and tomahto sauce and preparing the toppings so they can design their own pizzas. The little woman has made fresh Rum Babas for dessert Smiley: drool2

Tomorrow I think we'll just slob around all day and put maximum effort into doing fUck-all.

Well the wind blew the snow all the way to our door. IF we didn't have a covered porch, Jonwin would have had to climb out a window to dig up out. The snow drifts are mid thigh high, he says. Now the question is will this storm beat the record for snowfall in Maryland. I been here for 5 of the top ten, having missed 1983 while I was out in CA.

We don't expect to be going anywhere soon. Power went out for a second last night as I was watching "Inspector Lewis". Thankfully we were able to get the cable and TV back on fast enough that I didn't miss much. I have a crush on his partner.
