It's here again! This felt like a looooong week.

I registered Mia for Kindergarten yesterday and I felt strangely ok with it. I guess I know how excited she is/how much she'll enjoy it so that helps. I'm saving the complete emotional breakdown for the day I drop her off and she's gone. :(

My husband's aunt is dying and was moved into palliative care this week. She's such a lovely lady, probably my favorite in-law, and I'm sad to think of her dying and not getting to see her again. :(

Mr. Tare gets back from business travel tonight and promptly leaves again next week. We are planning on more work around the house, finishing touches on the newly revamped bathroom, and trying not to go crazy being stuck in the house with two cooped-up kiddies. Stupid freezing rain.

Oh, and I have a massage booked on Saturday afternoon. BLISS. :)

MIL up this weekend, which means we get to go out withoutthe kids, all weekend. God bless her, she kicks us out of the house because she came to see the kids, not us. No idea what we're doing this weekend, but most of it will not involve the kids and that's what's important.

Once again, work all weekend for me. Although it won't be much work, since it's supposed to rain/sleet all weekend and the course won't be open.

But today I ordered all the parts from Newegg for my shiny new computer! If Newegg is as fast as usual, I should get it all Monday. Smiley: yippee

Sorry to hear, Tare. I feel really guilty when I go to work and leave my cat at home, I can't imagine what it'll be like with kids.

Probably a relief, I suppose.

The girlfriend is away for the week-end, so I'm going to... do what I usually do. Going out with some ex-work-colleagues tonight, playing footy tomorrow, and then poker in the evening. Sunday I'll vegetate at home, watch Chelsea-******** and smoke a couple of joints on my balcony with neighbour.

I know absolutely nothing about American Football, but I hope the New-Orleans Saints win.

That's too bad, because New Orleans favourite son is going to take his home town and ride them doggy style.

This. At least I hope so, or else my husband will be impossible to live with.

Uh, the Giants aren't playing in the Super Bowl.

And Peyton is a fucking choke artist.

That sounds like someone close. Sorry. Smiley: frown

And hugs to Tare, as well.

Rainy weekend here, so indoor stuff mostly. Maybe one of the 357 Oscar-nominated movies I haven't seen yet.

Tonight: cleaning, laundry, vacuuming up the glass in the backseat of the car where the thieves broke in.
Tomorrow: Hannah has ballet in the morning, then Smash and I will go get haircuts, buy a suit and a ballgown and I'll possibly get a manicure...drop Hannah off at a friends and then we'll go check into our hotel. Dinner, then getting dressed and going to a ball where we'll dance, drink, and snack for charity.
Sunday: Lounge about in the hotel for a bit, eat breakfast, then check out and pick up Hannah and maybe do a little grocery shopping.

You know, the usual.

Yep, sucks.

Their downfall was brought about by a cat. That and a car on the interstate.

It's all Sams fault, but The MR. and I are having chinese food tonight for dinner due to her comments last night about the wonderful food. We've been salivating over it since.
Saturday Xavier has school to make up at least one of the 3 snow days he had this week (haha sucker) and then Sunday we may take the kids out to a bounce house to let them get any energy out of their system and hope with all our might they tire themselves out enough to have enough energy to sit on the couch or pass out so we can relax and not worry about any possible scraps between them.

yay friday!
I start taking some medications today. This weekend is pretty much "keep an eye on me" weekend and how they may effect me (if at all).
yay drugs and side effects!

Yeah, no kidding. Smash never leaves his backpack in the car...and of course the one time he does, they break in and steal it (complete with laptop and Ipod). Hannah's very determined that if only he'd written his name on it, they would have known it wasn't theirs and they would not have taken it. She's made him promise to write his name on his new one.

We're having some peeps over for Super bowl, though it's really just an excuse to create and eat yummy food.

That means the first part of the weekend will be spent cleaning and prepping. bleh.

Vacuuming broken glass is a *****. I still find pieces strewn about my car, and it was broken into last April. It ended up being a net gain, though, because the stereo was so old there wasn't a replacement, so I got a new one with an iPod hookup.

Thanks, roving crackhead who happened to be at a nature conservatory at night!

If it's going to be as rainy and nasty as they say i'll most likely just read by the fire the majority of the weekend. Maybe help my bro with some custom cabinets he's working on. I'm so sick of this weather.

Deconstruction, construction, drinking, barbecuing in the snow (not grilling, I have ribs tomorrow night), playing in the snow with the spawn, working. Nothing but fun and excitement.

I'm probably leaving work early today because of the snow. Once it starts I'm out of here. I have a 1.5hr drive home and I'm not waiting for it to get really bad to start my drive.

Then I'll sit inside all weekend playing games until the snow stops, then I'm going to go help shovel the 24inches we get so I can get back to work on Monday.

Sunday I'll be watching the game. I'm a Baltimore girl so its against my religion to cheer for the Colts so I'll be cheering for the Saints.
