Tough gig?Follow

I am amazed at the tenacity of Peter Robinson.

He is the First Minister of the Northern Ireland Assembly and he has had a very, very bad year so far.

1. He is trying to mediate between Catholic Republican ministers and Unionist British ministers who are intransigent.
2. His 60-year-old wife (who is also a Member of Parliament) has confirmed that she had an affair with a 19-year-old young buck. She confirmed suicide attempts last year and has now been sectioned under the Mental Health Act and is in a secure Psychiatric Unit.
3. Said wife syphoned big money into helping her toy-boy set up a restaurant business
4. He stepped down (temporarily) from office to clear his name that he knew about his wife funding said toy-boy.
5. He has cleared his name and retaken his seat as First Minister of Northern Ireland
6. The Irish Republicans have a contract out on him for supporting the British view
7. The pro-British unionists have a contract out on him for supporting the Republican view

Haha, this was such a hilarious story. There aren't many things that give me greater satisfaction than seeing a ridiculously religious fire-brand moralistic homophobic holier-than-thou preachy politician being caught fiddling accounts and cheating on their partners with a teenager. She was such a ***** as well. If anything, this shows that there is a God, but that he's clearly not on her side.

Actually, come ot think of it, there are quite a few things that give me greater satisfaction than these kind of stories. But still, pretty sweet.
