I had a really bad kidney infection once and they had to pump my **** full of penicilin. You can feel that stuff going in, it's so thick. And it kind of burns, ugh. But 20 minutes later I was right as rain, haha.

Glad you're ear is feeling better DSD. Ear infections suck.

Welp I had an interesting day. I've been dealing with a head cold for the past couple of days that steadily got worse and no OTC meds were helping. By 10:30 this morning my right ear decided to go completely deaf. Despite a hot shower and a heating pad nothing helped. So I called the DR *just in case* for an appointment. By 11:30 my ear started hurting. By the time my appointment at 1:15 I was doing all I could not to drop to my knees and bawl in complete surredner of pain. Come to find out I have a nasty ear infection, had to get a shot of steroids (first time ever getting a shot in my ***** and I'm now on so many medications to help battle the infection and ease the pain that I'm not allowed 10 yards near a vehicle and make the Pharmaceutical companies jealous of my stash. Smiley: grin

It took until 4:30 for the pain to even dim enough for me to unclench my entire body, and finally by almost 6pm the pain is now gone, unless I hiccup. I get to be a druggie for the next few days wheeee! If I hadnt gone into the Drs though this would have definitely turned into an ER visit. The pain was that bad.
I empathize. I had an inner ear infection that took almost a month to clear up. During that time, I couldn't stay upright to save my life. I have to drink decaf now, because coffee aggravates the symptoms and I can have a spontaneous re-occurrence anytime in the next six years. Smiley: frown

Since Anna is rambling lovely, I'll post my weekendy stuff as well. I got off school from philosophy class, and met a girl I hadn't seen in a long time on the walk home. We exchanged new numbers and went our own ways, I am happy we reconnected, it has been ages. Immediately after my attention was drawn to my phone, where another friend says to be over at 8 because she needs two hours to get ready. My mind has been a buzz ever since because all we are doing when I go over to her place is the excess of illicit drugs I got from a guy at a party I went to last weekend, and going at it like a something more primal than an animal. She has very smooth skin, and when all fancied up she is very doll like and delicate. My urge to wreck that has been fueling my afternoon workout.
Ah, to be young again. Also: Get off the juice, asshat.

Of course the 70 MPH car that the red tailed hawk hit the windshield of was somewhat banged up too. lucky it was the car in front of me, not me...
Saw a car run over a goose's feet once. It was traumatizing. The entire flock left him. His mate lingered, but eventually left as well. We called animal control, but I stayed an hour and they never came.

Oddly enough it wasnt nearly as bad as I anticipated. Of course I wasnt expecting it, either. But at that point I would have done anything if you told me it would alleviate the pain fast. And compared to what I was going through that was a breeze. Of course the bitch of a nurse told me the pain would ease in about 20 minutes and it didn't. Smiley: mad It took over 2 more hours and that was after I broke down and found my stash of tylenol codeine I still had lying around from Sorens birth.

I am currently helping to file tax returns for low-income people.

It's quite fun, surprisingly. There are a lot of genuinely good people here that come in who seek for help.

Are the animals all wombats? because that would be completely awsome! (They could have a token Platypus too, kind of an ill tempred mascott with a mischevious streak and a deeply hidden heart of gold, but also a fairly useless superpower like the ability to turn random things orange)

The only good super-hero animal team comic I ever read was WE3.

Except the super-hero part ...
