I'm sipping wine and wondering if I should take a break from long term relationships and just have fun instead.

Garlic potatoes rock.

I'm bored. It's Friday, and I'm at home sitting in my room watching TV, relaxing after a long week at work.

And I burned my thumb on a soldering iron at work about 10 minutes before leaving while fixing an strain gauge someone ripped the wires out of.

And why didn't you tell me this when I was in the market for meaningless sex? Smiley: um

You missed out the bit about me being ugly and you being flat-chested.

This could have worked y'know.

Saw the new I-something commercial with Eric Clapton. Nobby now looks more like Clapton then Clapton does.

Chili garlic Cholula is very nice. I had not had it before.

Welp I had an interesting day. I've been dealing with a head cold for the past couple of days that steadily got worse and no OTC meds were helping. By 10:30 this morning my right ear decided to go completely deaf. Despite a hot shower and a heating pad nothing helped. So I called the DR *just in case* for an appointment. By 11:30 my ear started hurting. By the time my appointment at 1:15 I was doing all I could not to drop to my knees and bawl in complete surredner of pain. Come to find out I have a nasty ear infection, had to get a shot of steroids (first time ever getting a shot in my ***** and I'm now on so many medications to help battle the infection and ease the pain that I'm not allowed 10 yards near a vehicle and make the Pharmaceutical companies jealous of my stash. Smiley: grin

It took until 4:30 for the pain to even dim enough for me to unclench my entire body, and finally by almost 6pm the pain is now gone, unless I hiccup. I get to be a druggie for the next few days wheeee! If I hadnt gone into the Drs though this would have definitely turned into an ER visit. The pain was that bad.

I went to the Haverford College Library. I saw drawings by the Audobon Society. I sat in a reading nook. I went and read some of the Quaker archives. The library is lovely. So is the school. The downside is that it was mother@#%^ing cold outside. There were alot of geese there.

Just sitting here doing my comic book order for the month. Trying to figure out how many kids would buy a comic that features a team of super-hero animals.

Since Anna is rambling lovely, I'll post my weekendy stuff as well. I got off school from philosophy class, and met a girl I hadn't seen in a long time on the walk home. We exchanged new numbers and went our own ways, I am happy we reconnected, it has been ages. Immediately after my attention was drawn to my phone, where another friend says to be over at 8 because she needs two hours to get ready. My mind has been a buzz ever since because all we are doing when I go over to her place is the excess of illicit drugs I got from a guy at a party I went to last weekend, and going at it like a something more primal than an animal. She has very smooth skin, and when all fancied up she is very doll like and delicate. My urge to wreck that has been fueling my afternoon workout.

I'm picturing Anna in a nice Quaker library surrounded by geese, all companionably sheltering from the cold and thumbing through good books.

Sorry to hear about your earache, DSD. I had an ear infection with the flu last fall. It sucketh, verily.

Sipping Scotch waiting for Kirby to get drunk enough to start a Skype voice chat. At which point I will likely need to turn off the Jazz music.
