Depends on the employee, wouldn't you say?

Edit: Apparently I'm just echoing Kao here. Move along.

Apparently neither of you figured out that I was calling Bard a ******, not ripping on public employees.

Still waiting for one thing, at which point I'm going to do my taxes in roughly half an hour and mail 'em off as soon as possible.

Looking at somewhere on the order of $3k back, partly because of getting married back in September and partly because my work is apparently incapable of reading a W-4 correctly (they're still withholding for federal taxes as if I was single, but not for state taxes... what the hell, people?).

That's interesting, because as a student I didn't make very much, but I'm still only getting back my withholdings for 2009.

Where's your money that's supposed to be my money?

Here I am being the model of a traditional homemaker, and I'm insulted for staying home and not working.

There's no pleasing some people.

ThiefX demands proof in the form of homemade pie and numerous children.

Because he's a ******* like that.

That or you didn't figure out that us state employees enjoy ripping on other state agency employees even more!

Hey, ThiefX, you're right. Why not keep your money?

Of course you must then (while still holding down a job) educate your own children, build your own roads, put out your own fires, catch (and judge and punish) your own criminals, secure your own defense, etc.

Yea, good luck with all that.

I didn't realize that I was stealing Theifx's money all the way from Canada. Wow, I must be so rich, I mean, look at this rich looking ************. Sitting in his ****** bachelor apartment across from the gas station where he works and plots world domination, smoking budget cigarettes, wearing the best the salvation army has to offer. He looks like a man living off of others.

Damn, it's nice to be rich and livin' off of American Right-wing fanatics. Thanks for the money, Theifx.

Did our taxes this morning. $8000 first time home buyer tax credit plus misc junk because we're in the poor south meant a $9K return. (We owe the state $9.)

You're Welcome. I'm guessing you're probably getting a better end of the tax deal than I am.

Hey now, I heard he has a sister.
With a daughter-niece, ThiefX can claim double-dependency on his taxes:)
