I don't recommend it, but that's because enough work 'friends' have tattled on each other to me and asked for my discretion that I realize precious few work friendships actually live up to the concept.

Heh. It helps that, for me, I don't get on there all that often. Once a day is a lot for me.

I was using Elne Clares account until she and my big sister said I had to get my own. (That and the group Elne started on facebook.)
I have most of my coworkers on it, but I'm smart enough not to post work gripes on it. But one of the supervisors did put her page on a no post status, at least for me.

It is useful, its how I found out my nephew had fractured his leg, and beat my brother to telling our mom about it. :)

I mainly use FB to stay in touch with old friends and family. It's a nice way to reconnect with old friends from high School. i been sharing needlecraft project and recipes with a girlfriend I lost contact with, when I went off to college.

I also always go read DSD's blog when she lets people know it's updated.

So who's going to set up the "I invited Flea'Lo to be my fren' but she ignored me" page on BaseFUck?

I find it handy for keeping up to date with friends and family, especially when I'm out of the country. It's nice to upload a photo from the iPhone from the beach or let people know about flight delays or stuff.

I don't use any of the 'apps' that grant unfettered access to my details for any wannabe 'developer' code monkey that might get overcurious.

I already addressed that. I didn't remember you. Heck, I don't even know your name or I would send you a request as an apology like I did Nadenu.

I made 2 of them. I'm not sure which one is the sockpuppet. One's my "work" account for here, the other is just a tim pierce account. I figure if you guys don't know i'm insane by now, that won't help you figure it out any more than it would have otherwise.

Smiley: inloveSmiley: flowers Thanks, Elne. I'm glad to know there's one or two peeps who enjoy reading about my days watching tv, eating bon bons while the kids are duct taped to the wall for "Quiet TIme".

Your check is in the mail. Nice advertising!

Listen, you just can't go all willy-nilly and fight each other. It's got to be organized. Otherwise we're just like fuckin' wild animals or something.
