I work for a financial management company. We handle money for people in the music business. Mostly Christian Contemporary artists, a small group of Country artists, and quite a few writers. I handle their insurance matters, paying out mechanical royalties when needed, bank reconciliations, and, since this is my tenth year here, I help with the general "office management." Not to mention any number of odd jobs that no one else bothers to do, but I assume that everyone has that issue at their own jobs.

I moved from MN to ME in 92 when I landed a job with the state as a groundwater geologist. After years of field work I now direct the newbs.
I've been married for 25 years - as of yesterday. Seems both of us forgot our anniversary yesterday. We've been in the throws of a 2-day winter storm and I guess the day slipped by. We already had big plans for celebrating our silver anniversary for early March when we go on vacation. oops. We grew two kid.
Both my parents grew up on diary farms in WI. I guess they were/are mostly of English and Irish ancestry. They eloped to the big city of Minneapolis, got jobs and raised a family. I grew up in the burbs of the Twin Cities.

I played EQ and needed Alla's. I still use the nice mellow light-blue frames on tan background of the EQ skin. If it should ever go away, so will I.

Principal Software Engineer, except our startup company was recently bought out by a large Canadian corporation that changed my title to Principal R&D Designer. Apparently they prefer much more ambiguous-sounding job titles north of the border. My actual job consists of designing software to test mobile backhaul, carrier ethernet, and VoIP/video protocols on large networks. Not the most exciting work in the world, but the people I work with are all very nice and the hours are flexible. I also get to work very closely with the customers that we sell our product to (large network carriers), and it's rewarding to know that the code that I've written is running at thousands of sites all over the world.

Married for 3 months now to my college sweetheart. We've been together for almost 10 years and have lived together for 5. Neither of us can ever be accused of rushing into things.
