Since I have no idea of who the hell a lot of you are, and since some of you have discovered Alla's Fleaharmony and hooked up with a poster, I find that curiosity is nibbling at me about the particulars. I trained to be an art therapist until I realized I didn't want to work with children or in jail. Since then I have worked various places, from the Smithsonian to the Girl Scouts as an event organizer. About six years ago, I trained as a medical interpreter and now I manage a staff of 25 at a hospital serving indigent populations.

First-generation immigrant from Peru to VA, but also lived in Saudi a few years. Moved to Chicago in '06, I think.

Discovered the site while playing FFXI back in high school, about 6-7 years ago. Was an intermittent poster for a while, but picked up posting more in college. Near the end of college I started posting in the Asylum and OoT.
