Gbaji waah-waah'd when he wrote:
Ok. So where were you making sure people understood this during the campaign Joph? This is what I've been talking about. You willingly support something you know to be false when it's politically convenient for you, then when it becomes obvious that it was false, you excuse it by saying that we shouldn't have expected it to be true in the first place. Um... What? So you're basically saying we should never believe anything you say, or support any political idea you support. Got it!

Tee-hee. It's like you don't even know what you're typing when you type it.

Are you retarded? What does that have to do with Reid's comments about Obama? I was talking about the perception of Obama as being able to fix everything during the campaign, and how that didn't really pan out once he was elected.

My statement was on topic. Yours is not only off topic, it's on topic to another thread on the first page of this forum. And it's moronic...

Obama has done poorly in his first year as President. That is my position. I've supported that position with examples of failures. If you wish to respond to that, by all means do so. If you want to talk about something else, then by all means start another thread, or respond in appropriate thread. Because what you're doing right now is acting like a three year old.

gbaji previously said the same thing in the other thread when he wrote:
It's funny though. When someone points out something underhanded that the Dems are going to do, you insist that they are wrong and that the Dems would never do such a thing for purely political reasons. Then, when it happens, you laugh and say that this is normal politics and what did you expect?
[...]
I can only conclude that you are not only ok with supporting a political party which actively lies to hide its agenda, but are willing to lie to hide that agenda as well.

...which sounds pretty much the same as when he said in this thread...

But then when he's called on it, he waves his hands and insists that he never really said it and they never had anything to do with each other and please stop asking me about this and about the scary question and talk about Obama!!!

Smiley: laughSmiley: laughSmiley: laugh

Keep demanding that we not talk about it and saying I'm being childish! Eventually the scary question is sure to go away on its own!

Worst case for you, they tell you to mind your own business.
Worst case for Joph, they nuke his post.
Worst case for the rest of us, you don't bother reporting it and we have to listen to you trying to make pearls because of the sand in your mangina.

Joph. None of that explains why you asked a question about the GOP response to Reid's statements about Obama.

As a adult, I prefer to handle things as an adult and not run off to the admins when someone is doing something they're not supposed to. My assumption is that Joph is actually a relatively mature person and will stop spamming this thread with an argument from another thread for reasons which I can only assume are to prevent discussion of a topic he's uncomfortable with.

If he continues, I will report the off topic posts. I just personally think it's a cop-out to have to do so.

Sure it does. You, in the other thread accused me of liking the lying liars with their liary lies. In this thread, you directly referenced that by saying "This is what I'm talking about" and again accusing me of liking the liars who lie with lying liar lies.

So I asked you about that topic since you brought it up. Now you really, really, really want to pretend that never happened because of the scary question and want to demand that we not talk about it.

Because it violates forum policy! Smiley: laugh

Heee heee, you're almost cute when you are being stupid. If I was vapid and in the first flush of menarche, you'd be in trouble. Memo: nothing you say on the board changes anything, 'tard.

I didn't start this thread. But surely, I'm entitled to respond to the topic and express my opinions. If Joph doesn't like or agree with those opinions, he's free to debate them. But instead he seems to constantly attempt to change the subject to talk about anything else.
As evidenced by his post count, Joph has wasted precious moments of our kid's life debating you on subjects large and small, so any implication that he would avoid discussing anything is just plain ludicrous.

The fact that gravity causes objects to fall to the ground is relevant and on topic to both a discussion of birds and to a discussion of basketballs. This does not mean that you can continue debating the question of whether the red-breasted swallow is better at feeding its young than the blue robbin in a thread about which basketball player is better at rebounds.

Get it? No. You probably don't...

Wait. You're the one changing the subject in order to avoid talking about Obama and your own support of a campaign based on lies, but I'm the one afraid to answer scary questions? Take a long deep look at your own soul there Joph. It might just help you out.

Protip: It's still off topic. Ask me a question about why Obama is doing poorly as president, or why this should have been predictable during the election but was glossed over, or anything else relevant and I'll answer.

Are you actually so dense that you can't figure out how to get me to answer that question? I'll give you a hint: Ask it in the correct thread. I've put up with your idiotic tactic of subject changing many times Joph, but I'm frankly getting tired of it. It was merely annoying when we'd be debating topics a few years back, you'd start to lose and then switch to talking about something else. I took it as a sign that you'd conceded the point. But it seems as though since Obama has taken office, you've gotten worse. It seems like every single thread questioning an action, policy, or statement by Obama or the Dems results in you inserting some tangent subject about how horrible Bush and the GOP were.

Newsflash Joph. Bush is not President anymore. The GOP hasn't controlled congress for 3 years. You don't get to play the victim anymore...

That was a lot of words spent not answering the question Smiley: smile

I get it, man. I yanked your chain about how shitty you were at shaming me into things and now you're all "I can't answer!" It's great. I've been getting a lot of mileage out of watching you fall all over yourself to avoid answering a simple question. If you actually were interested in answering it in the other thread, you would have done so a couple hours ago instead of frantically trying to avoid answering it here.

Dude, you cried about forum rules to avoid answering it! Forum. Rules.

You can't buy entertainment like this.

Still can't do it, can you Joph?

Seriously. The correct thread is like only a third of the way down the page. It would take you zero more effort to post there and ask your question than to post here. Why can't you do it?

I propose that it's not really about asking the question. It's about asking the question "here", in this thread. And I've already explained exactly what your motivations are for doing that. You are nothing if not predictable.
