It would be this: http://www.runleiarun.com/lebowski/

Quote:
WALTER
Thou cross’st the line, Jack Smoke, O cavalier,
As clearly demarcated in our rules,
In tumbling past the throw. ‘Tis play most foul.

[...]

JACK SMOKE
Thy words are hard; I must equivocate.
Put up thy pen, that I may mark it eight.

WALTER
Nay! I do protest, and draw my sword;
It shall teach thee to disobey my word.
Mark none but none into that bowler’s frame,
Else thou shalt enter into a world of pain.

One is tempted to say that this is "full of win," but I don't think that Shakespeare would approved of internet memes.

Course he would have. He always put in something that the "common man" of the day would enjoy.

Well, that's like, your opinion, man.

Yeah, Lebowski was funny in parts, but it was also pitiful. I don't get the whole cult status thing, but then again I lack the twig-and-berry setup that would likely enlighten me as to its cultural significance.

You can be The Dude, there's operations for that.

As an aside: I'm a big fan of the Coen Brothers, but what the **** was the point of A Serious Man?

Seriously.

I've been following these Dudes for a couple weeks on Facebook. It's an interesting concept but I reserve judgment to I actually get to see more of it.

For shame!

Really, it's a character/dialogue driven film. If the characters & dialogue don't work for you, there's no "getting it", they just don't work for you. Pulp Fiction is the same way.

Listen, I'm open to watching it again, but I'll need another bottle of the Velvet Red and for you to lose the pants.

That Jewish people have slightly boring lives? I don't think there was supposed to be a point. I have to admit when it ended I was a bit like wtf... Still, I really enjoyed that film and thought it was pretty hilarious.

And it goes without saying that the Big Lebowski is ******* legendary.

I was just reading this the other day too. Small world.

“The Knave abideth.” I dare speak not for thee, but this maketh me to be of good comfort; I deem it well that he be out there, the Knave, being of good ease for we sinners.

Most people I know have gone through a phase in their lives where they were at least somewhat obsessed with The Big Lebowski. My dad got really into it the first time he saw it in theaters, before it became a cult classic. I didn't fully appreciate the humor and subtleties of The Big Lebowski until college, when the movie was playing in at least one of my friend's rooms at just about any hour of the day. My wife was somewhat of a late bloomer, only discovering the movie a couple years ago when we got it on DVD. White Russians are now one of her favorite drinks, and she can quote The Dude even better than I can now :).

Yeah, there was the one summer I spent unemployed, lounging around in a robe and boxers, smoking up and drinking Kahlua. But, obviously, I was a golfer.
