One of the most under-rated chains, at least in my area is Carl's Jr. That place has some of the best tasting burgers, but is always a ghost town.

The last time I went to Carl's Jr was in 1995. I still have the Bobby's World toy.
HARDEE'S.
Back when they weren't the same chain, Hardee's was disgusting.

Now that they are the same chain, though...

The best local burger joint is the Blind Pig Tavern. $7 for a hamburger and fries, but omfg they are greasy spoon heaven.

The best burger I've had ever was at The Vortex in Atlanta. I didn't think it was possible to improve upon the awesome burgeration of Blind Pig, but the Vortex manages to do it, for about a buck more per burger.

Speaking as someone who has worked with the public in many aspects, including retail, food service and as a social worker in a variety of settings, conventional wisdom has always been that rich people are the biggest nightmares, namely because they have never paid their dues and treat service people as subhuman. So I'd say that I can see a rich person having a fit over something like this.

Also, you get to slowly bleed McDonald's dry if you don't order anything else.

If you want to go that route, you should go to Burger King for their dollar double. It tastes better and costs them the same twenty cents more to produce it than they sell it for as McDonald's.

clueless, tasteless as hell, and probably trolling, but not quite worth the effort of banning him again yet. besides. whenever I ban him the reply count goes through the floor on controversial threads.

On the other hand, you will note that not once has anyone ever been told not to karma camp varrus. In fact, here's admin approval to rate the **** out of specifically him if you want. Just for the extra agravation he causes.

I always keep him at sub-default (but not rate him down from sub-) just so if it's necessary he can easily be no-rated.

You're overestimating how much driving and effort I'm willing to go through for a dollar burger.

You could eventually sue because they didn't put a "Will make you fat" warning all over the sandwich. Plus, you know, bacon.

You can always blame them for the heart attack.

I'm sure there's a quality/quantity debate to be had here. I would post ten times more if the quality of Republican posters was better, or if the terms of the debate were a bit less retarded.

As things stand, debating with Varrus is about as gratifying as beating a 3 year old at table tennis. And Gbaji clearly needs psychiatric help. Because they polarise the debate so much, it often becomes a case of "relatively reasonable middle-ground position Vs deluded paranoid typing machine" or "relatively reasonable middle-ground position Vs racist homophobic redneck". I think there is scope for arguing against other "liberal" posters on lots of issues, but the sheer stupidity of Varrus and gbaji often polarises the debate to an extreme.

Having said all that, I don't think Varrus should get banned. Ignored, maybe, but not banned. Free spech and all that. And he is a colourful caracter. Like, you know, Hitler was colourful.

When it comes to burgers and large amounts for a decent price, I love Five Guys. Not sure if they're just central FL or if they are elsewhere, but HOLY CRAP, huge burgers and tons of fries. And free peanuts!

Five Guys is a chain all up and down the east coast. We have two locations here in town.

We call them "Five guys burgers OR fries" because the servings are so big, you won't be able to finish both. We usually order a meal and split it between the two of us.

(Come to think of it, we do that at most restaurants these days. We make sure to tip extra because of the double plates and lack of revenue from a second meal, but honestly, portions at US restaurants are too ******* big for one person.)
