I saw the ball drop, then some half-dressed chippy started to sing, and that's about as much attention as I paid to the tv.

I haven't watched **** Clark's show in years. But I know it was almost 4 years ago that I watched it and he looked bad then. Ryan Seacrest was doing most of the work that night, too. I honestly thought he would have taken over by now.

We only watched him for a minute, but everybody in the room though he died months ago and was reanimated for new years eve.

He looks better this year than he has for the past couple of years.

He's stronger and he's not speaking as slow.

Personally, I think he should continue as long as he wants to. He is a fixture of New Year's Eve, at least for me. And honestly, he owns the damn show, so I doubt he'll be going anywhere for awhile longer.

I'd have to agree with this post. It's more symbolic of him to perform the countdown, so I think he should stay as long as he wants. Seacrest is to become the sole host of the program when **** Clark doesn't want to anymore anyway, and there will be years to come when we get to hear his annoying voice do the countdown. But I applaud Clark on his perseverance to still host his show despite his stroke, and he wasn't that bad at doing it, despite the little mishap with the beginning of the countdown.

I'm personally hopeing that next year he gets his strength back and strangles ryan seacrest live with his own microphone cable. Can't stand that guy.
