Heineman is a douche, I would be surprised if he beat Nelson or whoever else runs.

Lancaster and Douglas counties went to Obama (two largest cities, Lincoln and Omaha are in each respectively), it's the mouth-breathing hicks in the rural areas that ruined it, and probably will for Nelson as well.

They'll change their tune when 200 community health clinics open up in the state in the next few years that provide low cost checkups and basic health management without having to go through a hospital or an insurance company.

Also, can I just say that the article about Nelson fills me with glee?

If Nelson is willing to spend cash from his campaign coffers to defend why he's voting for health care reform, it's pretty much a lock that he's planning on voting for whatever bill comes out of the reconciliation process. Awesome news Smiley: smile
