I check my facebook fairly late saturday night. My kid has a wall message that reads "Killing people is easy - all you have to do is forget the taste of sugar".

My son was in his room at that moment. The light still on, sounds of some video game sneaking out from below the door. I saw him go in earlier, with a bowl of sugar-coated cereal. Surely it's gone by now. But...has he forgot?

I freaked out. I was sure he was plotting the murder of his parents.

I had to barge in on him. Turns out he'd just finished some book, and this line was a quote from it. I made him put quotation marks on his facebook message and then slumbered soundly.
