This week I spent just about every day helping a friend of mine out with her home-based business (http://www.punkinbutt.com if you are into cloth diapering or natural/organic parenting-oriented stuff) seeing as she was 38 weeks pregnant with twins and finally had them on Wednesday (1 hour 59 minutes from first contraction to both babies out; I kinda hate her right now.)

So my home stuff has been fairly neglected. We've been eating a lot of take-out, the house is a shambles, the fridge is pretty much empty except for a few cups of yogurt of questionable age. Time to take care of the home and family for a few days, and do nothing, except maybe shampoo the carpets.

It looks kinda like a football helmet, sans most of the faceguard.

I'm sure it's still delicious.

Today I spent 5 (yes 5) hours creating a monstrosity of a cake for Ashes birthday party tomorrow. If you would like some extra entertainment and view the cake itself while simultaneously mocking me, I posted pics of it in my blog, located in my Siggy! I'm also battling a cold and just a lot of stress with just so much being thrown at me at once.

I just spent the past hour reading your blog.

I feel like you don't get nearly enough caffeine in your day.

Do ya'll got to museums daily?

Smiley: lol Only when Xavier is on school vacation, which he is for almost 6 weeks right now. With the MR working from home, I try to get the kids out of the house as much as I can so everyone is busy, happy, and it's quiet at home. We live between 2 major cities and there are a lot of great places to go to, including several museums. So on days when the weather isnt perfect for playgrounds, or I need something that will occupy them longer we hit those.
And now you know why I adore coffee. It's really the only thing that allows me to keep up Smiley: cool

BTW cake has been consumed and no one was poisoned. I declare it a success!
