How do you cook yours. And if you don't celebrate thanksgiving then ***** off.

We generally spend all day smoking turkeys and watching football. Stick a big fosters beer can up it's butt and smoke under apple wood 3hrs. In between games and just passing the time we'll split wood, weather permitting.

Why don't you just **** on the turkey instead?

I like to cook mine in the blood of the homeless and destitute.

I'll ***** off, whether this involves sex or a bottle of wine, both sound good to me.

I celebrate real thanksgiving, not your fake one. I did smoke a turkey this year, and it was fantastic, I used a sage brine the night before. I try to do something different each year.

I suppose it is if you're waiting on the South to rise again or something.

It's something you could lose, but not regain; the corollary is that you could gain southerner-ship, but not lose it. You would just get yelled at for maybe acting like a yankee.

If you were born a yankee, however, it would be possible to become acclimated enough to southern life such that you were not considered one anymore.

"Pensive you're starting to sound mighty congenial for a yankee *laugh*"

If a southerner did something truly deplorable insofar as s/he was considered a southerner, and was no longer to be considered as such, you might lament his/her loss, but it's never the fault of the individual

"Man, Pensive's been paling around with communists; those @#%^ing yankees got to him"

Pretty standard operation as a cultural identifier, only in this case it identifies southern culture as a negation of some pejorative, instead of an affirmation of a positive.
