Honestly, thanks to Amazon, I got everything I wanted without having to stand in line out in the cold.

And as for PS3 and Xbox 360, to choose which one to get, it's all about the exclusives. PS3 wins in that department. But if the Halo franchise interests you more than games like MGS4 and Uncharted 2, then you go with the games you want most.

It takes some serious willed blindness to think of the 360 as an fps console.

Dragon Age is not Mass Effect. Don't buy it for the console. The combat system was designed around a BG-style isometric view which is very clumsily rendered on the Xbox.

False. FFXIII is coming to PS3. It was exclusive at one point, but no longer.

That strategy worked so well for Nintendo with it's N64 console, I'm sure the same thought process will work coming from the other end.

I didn't say it was a FPS console. I just said what many consider an AAA title and is guaranteed an exclusive. And many of the JRPGs have been disappointing and not AAA material, which is why I don't consider them a reason to buy a 360. If anything, the exclusive RPGs I think the 360 is worth getting for would be Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, and Blue Dragon (cheap too), but most of the other JRPGs that have come out and are still exclusive have scored pretty low.

I don't know what kind of point you are trying to make, but the Playstation had so many more 3rd party exclusives than the N64. The same can't be said between the PS3 and 360. Pretty much every 3rd party game on the 360 comes out on PS3. Even games Microsoft said was exclusive such as Bioshock and Ninja Gaiden 2. It's just a product of this generation.

So when I think of exclusives, pretty much I think first party games developed by in house studios. Between the two, you cannot argue that Sony isn't the better between the two. It's one of the reason I ended up buying a PS3 in the first place after owning my 360 for about two years.

Well aware of that, but Jon thinks he can handle it, and what we enjoy is him doing combat stuffs and me doing conversations. :) Tried something similar with kotor, and having to huddle around his computer made it much less fun... so for games we want to play together we've decided to stick with our xbox.

Uh... he was saying that of FF13, FF13:Versus, and FF14, the only one of those that's confirmed to be going to the 360 is FF13. FF14 might be, but they're still trying to hash things out with MS about that.

All three will be on the PS3, though, yes.

Different use of "only."

Only I may eat pie.
I may only eat pie.
I may eat only pie.

The first use puts the limiter on the subject of the sentence; the second puts the limiter on the verb; the third use puts the limiter on the object. "Only ffxiii" puts the limitation on the game, not the consoles on which it is availible.

So I camped out outside Target from 10:00 PM until it opened up at 5:00 AM.

Ended up watching the Bourne trilogy on my PSP while waiting, wrapped up in a blanket.

It was crazy...the big 'doorbuster' was a 720p 32'' LCD HDTV. I ended up with one, and it's currently playing Flower.

Picked up two three-dollar toasters, a fifty-dollar camera, and a 8-GB Pro Duo Memory Stick also.

Pretty good haul, I got what I wanted.

Just tired...haven't slept yet...

Or maybe you're a fucking imbecile 24/7 and this is nothing but a pathetic excuse. No, it's OK, I'm sure you really believe you're intelligent, that you believe this rationalisation yourself. Surely you don't understand just how stupid you are, or you'd have done us all a favour and killed yourself by now - though goodness knows you came close with that do-it-yourself surgery on your ribcage. I mean, I know no one else will eat your withered cheese, but those were pretty extreme measures to go to just to autofellate. Pity you survived, but life can be cruel that way.

If my argument has persuaded you to end your miserable existence, I can give you a couple of tips on how to do it properly - after all, you've failed at everything else in your life, so I doubt you'd succeed here. The simplest method, and the one where you're least likely to chicken out, is to poison yourself. Bleach is generally fatal when ingested, but there are more creative ways. Give yourself an Everclear ***** with the turkey baster, for example. Another method you could try is jumping off a building - I recommend you do so at night, where people are less likely to spot you and lead you off the edge. A bath in hydrochloric acid is painful - you might jump out before it does more than disfigure your legs - but if you can go through with it, it'll give the cops something nice to look at.

Disclaimer: I do not advocate suicide. The above post is intended wholly in jest.

P.S. I promise this hatred is genuine, Ugly. I am seething with rage here.

I Haz PS3 now. It came with 2 games, but I really bought it to be a blue ray player, since the PS3 actually has a really, really good blue ray decoder. I figured paying $50 more for a good blue ray player that happens to play games as well was better than paying for a mediocre one that didn't.

Also picked up some more components for the media PC chassis. still haven't decided on the video card yet.
