Back on subject: Sarah Palin abandons own fans at book signing.

She had to leave promptly at 9:00 PM to catch her flight drive overnight to the next signing, leaving people who waited for hours to get their books signed in the cold and rain.

Some of the quotes are priceless.

Quote:
I have never felt so disrespected. How can you claim that you are different? You aren’t. You are just as selfish as everyone else in Washington. It breaks my heart. I thought you might be the answer to the turmoil this country is under but you aren’t. You just slapped hundreds of Hoosiers in the face. The hard working type of people that you claim to represent.

Quote:
I spent majority of my day at Border’s in Noblesville, Indiana waiting to get my book signed. After 8 hours in the cold and rain with my wife and 10 month old baby, I was shocked to watch Sarah get on a bus and leave without signing books for at least 400 people. Instead, we were given a sticker that had her signature printed on it! You lost quite a few supporters tonight! I know many planned to return their books, but the real disappointment was the realization that someone you supported and believed in didn’t follow through on the commitment they made.

You know, I thought the one thing she had going for her all this time was excellent PR and damage control. I guess everything during the McCain campaign was a fluke.

Edit: Tour bus. Doesn't even have the excuse of "I had a plane to catch."

Will he heal the sick children Palin abandoned? That'd be pretty swell of him.

No, we're talking about Palin. Do try and keep up. More specifically we're talking about Palin's book. I understand this is hard, feel free to ask any other questions you have.

But 60-odd percent of the nation thinks she's unqualified to be president. "Approval" doesn't mean they want her a C-in-C.

Maybe. That doesn't mean it bodes well for Palin.
