Forum conservative has pointFollow

#1 Nov 17 2009 at 3:24 PM Rating: Excellent
In a stunning turn of events not seen here since the UBB days, a local forum conservative raises a point not immediately refuted by fact.

Forum enthusiast Jophiel commented, “I can’t believe I’m actually having a discussion on this forum which hasn’t yet devolved into name calling and disputes involving bizarre re-definitions of words.”

“After countless nonsensical posts about who put their feet up on the desk in the oval office or who bowed to which leader we actually have a legitimate discussion in which neither side seems clearly at leave of their senses” added forum maven Nexa.

“Smashing. Now we can get back to talking about fast cars and boobies.” – Nobby

“Later” – Nepthys

“Wombats. Wombats in MiG fighters. And a new house.” – Kaolin

“Is it Friday? Or just a miracle? Yay!” – Tare

“Awe hell with it…ruining our good name. I’ll just go chop some wood, smoke, bench press…and all will be good.” – varrus

“Was that a…rabbit?” – Flea

“Well pick me out a $39 toaster! I never thought I’d see the day” – Jonwin

“I think lots of people simply don't recognize the importance of words themselves; if you don't have the word, then you don't have the concept to which it refers” – Pensive

“Yes, but he’s still wrong” - Smash

“Damnit Smash, don’t ruin it. We’ve got to encourage this.” – Tricky

“It does not remove your freedom to sue. It does not remove your right to be compensated for your damages. Tort reform only limits the punative damages which may be applied. You don't have a right to get a boat load of money because a judge decided that the doctor who harmed you works for a larger organization which can afford to be made an example of. “ – gbaji

so it goes.

Great, another news service just giving voice to public opinions instead of doing any actual journalism. Last time I read the Yossarian Gazette.

Maybe not by fact. But contradicted by his own previously stated political position? -Yes.

It is the post no post!
Just a randoms sample of quotes redone as if its a new post. Sort of like some new "news" sites today.

I will now sue you for libel.
I would never pay $39.00 for a toaster. For those I go to the thrift store.

But if you actually wanted to get me a toaster, you would go out and buy me the $59.99 toaster in cherry red with egg poacher on the side.

Since we all apparently don't have jobs, aren't we supposed to be stealing the toasters?

My mom bought us a toaster oven last year when I broke my leg, and couldnt cook as much. If a toaster oven is good enough for my mom, it is good enough for Elne Clare!

The best part is, you can make them out of beer cans and weather vane parts!

edit: Bear does not equil beer. though given the Mig termenology, either would have worked. Da, komrad! For Mother Russia!

It actually being a rabbit and the title of this thread occur with roughly equal regularity.
